This was my first visit to Queen Solar Nails. Seemed clean. Friendly staff…read more I had a pedicure and a nail fill with hand design. I had the pedicure but the chair I was in had no controller so I assume no massage available. That was a disappointment. The staff was pleasant, asking me questions about my Royal Nail pedicure experience compared to his pedicure. It was nice and he did a good job, but if I had to compare the two, I would prefer Royal Nail experience. I have no complants about the pedicure from Queen Solar Nails, it was still satisfying. He asked if the other salon used oranges. I asked what the orange wedges were for, I was told it helps the toe nails and the skin. I think Royal nails takes more time, still my feet feel great!! I think there was some level of a communication barrier. Between the mask, pexi glass and laugage differences. I again had a picture of what I wanted to have done but it was changed at the end. I wanted a design on all my fingers but agreed to have 2 fingers. I thought he ment two fingers on each hand. Nope one finger on each hand. I wanted sparkle on all fingers. Even if it was just polish. But ended up with no sparkle, just gems on one finger each hand. At this point there were others standing around talking and waiting there turn and I felt like I was being rushed because others were waiting. Not just here, I have felt this way at other places as well. I said the nails were fine. They did look good, in the light in the salon, but I could hardly see the design. I did like the smaller gems. I wanted black but it was fine. The design seemed small and when I looked at the picture I had there was a layer of sparkle under the design I wanted. It just did not come out as defined as it should have been. Comparing the picture to the nails was a disappointment. 2x once in Royal Nails and once in Qeen Solar Nails. I can not win. Before Covid I could get what no wanted no concerns. I will just have to venture out and start reviewing them until I can find the ones that can do what they say they can do! Not what they think they can do. This was my only experience at Queen Soler Nails. I May try again Not sure yet. I think that if you want just basic stuff they will do a good job. NEVER GOING BACK.
