Standard pizza place, but very convenient if you happen to be in the Highlands area of Ledyard. Pizza is pretty good, if just a little greasy. A good variety of toppings to choose from, ranging from the typical (pepperoni, olives) to not as typical (eggplant, vinegar peppers) They also offer a decent range of grinders (or "subs" if you're not a true New Englander ;), calzones, burgers and different sides (cheese fries, wings). Anyway, not bad if you're in the area, plus there's a gas station, convenience store and liquor store in the plaza if those are more to your liking. Recommended. read more

We are not from the area and chose a random place for pizza. This restaurant is great! Karen greeted us and was very friendly and helpful throughout our visit. We ordered the garlic bread and it had chunks of real garlic, delicious! We asked for a side of marinara and no kidding, it was the best marinara sauce I've ever had! Ordered Crispy fries, cheeseburger wrap with bacon, mac and cheese bites. Daughter picked up order. When she got home we weren't happy with our order. Mac and cheese bites didn't have the sauce. Bacon wrap came without the bacon but with some extra hair. French fries were not crispy but SOGGY!!! I called and they offered to remake order and deliver and pick up messed up order. I told them my husband needed to eat now because he is on pain meds. The delivery driver offered several times to have food remade and would deliver. I asked about a refund but he completely ignored it and offered to order and deliver. I was told by delivery driver that the owner would contact me in the morning. It's now 4:00pm and no call. This is not the first bad experience with them. There are many. Placing order for delivery and having to pick it up because they forgot . Ordered a bacon pizza and a plain cheese pizza on a whim since we're new to the area, and it was fantastic! For me, a pizza is all about the crust and theirs was crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Very tasty. I can't speak for the dine in experience since we got it to go. The pizza and salads were excellent though. One thing to keep in mind is that the large pizza here is more like a medium at many other places but it's not a big deal just something to know when you order. We will definitely be returning next time we get a craving for pizza! read more

This wasn't the first time receiving bad service from this place. Call and place a pick up order today, no friendly greeting just a HOLD no thank you for calling please hold and when finally picking back up just a rude hello. At this point we should have known better and checked the food before leaving, got all the way home to find out we got the wrong order yet again. We call back the delivery guy answered who was nice hands the phone back to the rude girl. Instead of offering to have it delivered or anything to try to make up for her mistake just ask if we want to drive back. Like I said before this is not the first time this has happened. They show no appreciation for their guest they make no effort to recover from there mistakes. The antipasto also looked good but the croutons were stale with no flavor and the creamy ranch was disgusting. Dough was raw in the middle of the pizza! Ordered from the Ledyard location last night, we usually order from there for convenience mostly. But this order caused me to write this review. We ordered a ceased chicken wrap that was unbeatable as well as a side of fried pickles. Both orders had to be discarded they were that bad, it was like some dumped a complete shaker of salt on both items. We also had a buffalo chicken pizza which was the worst buffalo chicken pizza I have ever had. Time for us to find somewhere else for our Saturday takeout. read more

The young lady answering the phones over the past 2+ years (out of the 6 years I'm been ordering) (and in general what seems like anyone not cooking or delivering) is very UN helpful & blantently RUDE (the Gracian pizza comes WITH pepercini not Bananana pepers and YES *I* know the differences, & I'm the customer)...SADLY I will no longer be ordering from the Ledyard Christos...only nepotism could excuse such behavior read more

Pizza is pretty good, probably the best in the local area. Haven't had anything else so I can't speak to their grinders or dinners.

Pizza is good when they bake it right. A lot of times I have to bake it in my oven so it isnt soggy and the cheese is a golden brown. When asked to cook it the way I would like they dont seem to care or they burn it. Another 5 minutes would do the trick. read more

Two weeks ago I would have given this place a 4 star rating. The pizza was excellent, the cheeseburger sub (grinder) was delicious with lots of meat and a toasted bun. Fast forward only two weeks and it is probably one of the worst pizza joints I've been to. Got another cheeseburger sub (grinder) and it was more of a salad in a bun. Barely any meat was used and it was literally packed and over flowing with lettuce. I also ordered broccoli and cheddar bites which were luke warm with some of them not even being completely cooked. Giving a two star because I understand the cooks change throughout the week/day and the first was amazing, but I won't press my luck to get the one that was working tonight, rather just drive elsewhere. read more

My husband gets their pizza and seems to like it. I'm gluten free so I don't eat the pizza(obviously). But I just had their gorgonzola salad and I couldn't even eat half of it. I immediately started having cramps and felt so sick. I told my waitress friend about it and she was telling me about the other customers that complain about going through the same thing from the salad there, more specifically the chicken. Sat ourselves our waitress was quick to come over and ask our drink orders when she returned I found my glass to be dirty along with my boyfriends she came back with new cups and gave us our plates and silverware and took our food order after she walked away we unwrapped our silverware which was dirty and had food stuck to them thank god we ordered grinders after a long wait our appetizer and grinders came out my grinder was completely wrong i needed the meat cooked because Im pregnant and don't want to get sick so I sent it back my boyfriend started to eat his which was completely covered in salt almost like the salt shaker broke over it he tried to eat it finally my food came back out and wasn't right but I didn't bother to even argue because I heard the cook complaining that he had to remake it in the first place if we weren't starving I would have walked out the only thing that place Is good for is pizza and that's if they can get the order right definitely won't be returning anytime soon or maybe even ever read more
