I normally don't write reviews on Yelp, but I really wanted to take the time to write this one because I hope it can help someone who is looking for a mortgage team they can truly trust and have a wonderful experience with, just like I did! Pam and Tai are beyond amazing. Purchasing a home is one of the biggest and most important decisions in life, and working with them made the entire process so much easier and less stressful for me. They were always on top of everything, kept me updated, and were always there whenever I had questions. Pam even answered my calls at night when I needed help. That really showed me how much they genuinely care about their clients. I never felt like I was bothering them or had to figure things out on my own. No matter what came up, I always felt like they had everything under control. Buying a house can be overwhelming, especially when there are so many things you don't understand about the process. But with Pam and Tai, I always felt safe and confident that I was in good hands. They were patient, responsive, knowledgeable, and truly went above and beyond for me. I'm so grateful that I found them and had them by my side throughout my home-buying journey. I honestly don't think I could have asked for a better team. From the time our offer was accepted and we paid our earnest money, the entire process slowly, methodically became more and more increasingly frustrating and maddening. To explain, I'll start with 6 months ago. My fiancee is still on a mortgage with her deadbeat ex-husband. They've been divorced over 14 years, yet because of his slackness and not paying his bills on time, she can't get off their mortgage. Our Loan Officer, Logan Kadolph told us that as long as she had a divorce decree, it would not be an issue. She easily provided it. Fast forward to two weeks before the scheduled closing we were then told "Well... she is still on the mortgage and liable." We were shocked. My fiancee was in tears for days. Later they decided to simply excuse this. As the closing date grew closer, I would get texts or emails saying "Everything looks good to close" and the very next day or hours later we would get an email from Julie Kim, Mortgage Loan Processor, and she would then send of list of more documents to upload. This was constant, a daily, never ending list of things to sign. I've purchased a home before and the first time was EXPONENTIALLY less complicated than dealing with Zillow. For the final straw, the day we were scheduled to close, they then said that my tax return and tax transcripts from a previous year, the amounts did not match, and I needed to give a reason for this. I said it didn't matter, since I had paid the IRS in full the previous year. They said it did matter. My fiancee simply Googled searched this, emailed that back to them showing that the transcript is the final word from the IRS, therefore there was nothing to resolve. Nevertheless, they canceled our close... to only HOURS LATER then say that they would excuse this. So as I had said earlier "It didn't matter!" But that was AFTER the close of business hours on a Friday, so we had to take off work AGAIN days later to finally close on our home. These are just a few examples of numerous issues we had with Zillow. Multiple times my fiancee and I said we wished we had used our bank. Bottom line, in my experience this organization is completely dysfunctional and it definitely seemed to my fiancee and I that communication within their team is severely lacking. I'm a clinical therapist and I counsel numerous couples, often times doing pre-marital counseling. Should any of them ever mention buying a house in the future, I will tell them "If you want to keep your sanity and peace, do not use Zillow Home Loans."

This is the customer service you will be receiving. There's no kindness, no consideration. I have NEVER had this experience before. Again, others are to blame, but not the company. 9/28/26---Update---This was in fact another HARD inquire, as stated on my credit report, which I pulled. As of this evening at 9pm, no updates. Nothing has been resolved, even though this is the error of this company. I didn't send a threating email. I told them I'd be leaving a review so others would know to stay away from a company that has a motto of "we care" and "hold us to our word" yet when you try to address their error, they're very defensive and want to put the blame on the customer/potential customer. Calling me late in the evening and pressuring me to remove a review that is based solely on my experience with this company is threating and illegal. You can't mess up people's credit and deny all responsibility, and force them to lie. I'm not the only person who has had a horrible experience with this company. I have the date the credit was pulled again, and it's listed as a HARD inquiry, no matter how hard this company's owner tries to deny it. It's simple, you want a good review, you provide excellent customer service. Why would I be making up the fact that my credit score took a hit, Optimum did this, when they weren't authorized to do so. I have my email from the new "Madi" loan officer. She told me that she would be using the paperwork/credit report info from the previous loan officer (who somehow just vanished into thin air) when I asked if she'd be running my credit again, she said no, yet they did that the SAME DAY (even though I DID NOT tell her I wanted to continue working with her). Robert told me it was due to human error in the begin of his many texts, then tried to blame it on me. Avoid this company at all costs. I will not be bullied into removing my review. Until there is a good faith effort to correct their obvious mistake this honest and horrible experience will stay. I have no problem leaving a good review, when it's warranted. I do not leave fake reviews, and will not be pressured into leaving one here. Fannie Mae did not pull anything, this company's name shows up 2 time on my "inquires" list, because they did it 2 times. I also didn't get a loan with them, so why are they even continuing to have access to my information?
