We love coming here for ice skating! Our main gripe is that every year it seems like their website gets harder and harder to navigate, and there seldom is anyone around to answer questions over the phone. It took several tries for us to find out that their website is completely down this season, so reservations for skating sessions can't be made in advance. Once we did find out about this, we just planned on walking in and hoping for a relatively empty session - thankfully it was! 4 pm on a Monday seems like the perfect time to go, both for the beautiful sunset and the lack of crowds. Great spot for a fun date or casual hang out with friends.

Hadn't been here in forever but I remembered it being great so we took our boy here. He absolutely loved this place plus a playground is always a plus! It was just perfect for a nice little walk perfect for a toddler. I mean this would be perfect in general for some exercise. I also loved it's super close to us so another plus!

Great little park with lots of amenities - swimming pool, basketball courts, softball field, volleyball court, jogging trails, kids' playground, golf, and much more. Well maintained, attractive, tons of parking, and spacious. $25 Leisure Pass available for Nassau County residents, and you'll need it to access many of the rec facilities Check out their page for all the details: http://www.nassaucountyny.gov/agencies/parks/WhereToGo/active/morley.html

The gardens are beautifully maintained, the grounds are peaceful and relaxing, and every path seems to lead to another picture-perfect view. Based on many recent positive visitor reviews, people consistently praise the stunning landscapes, historic mansion, tranquil atmosphere, and endless photo opportunities. I'm giving it 5 stars because it's truly a beautiful place to spend a couple of hours. Whether you want to leisurely stroll through the gardens, take lots of photos, or do a little of both, about two hours feels just right. There's also plenty of free parking, which makes visiting easy. While the current admission price of $22 per adult feels a bit high, the beauty of the property and the overall experience still make it worth the visit. Throughout the year they host great special events, including classic car shows and an incredible illuminated pumpkin trail before Halloween that has become a Long Island favorite.

There was a Lego exhibit with all sorts of creations ranging from a monarch butterfly to hummingbird to snail on a mushroom. I definitely recommend checking Google maps using Google Earth view before you go because we ended up getting lost and couldn't find the entrance for 15 minutes. A lot of local libraries do offer Old Westbury Gardens passes so definitely check out your local library before purchasing tickets to see if they're available!

First part was just huge rocks which hey that can't be helped I get it. We walked down the other way which was okay. It was also sort of dirty I mean maybe off season okay I get it. Just the beach park in Oyster bay off season doesn't look like this. Since this is like our only beach/bay whatever I'll let things slide. I'm still annoyed just at the fact we barely get any beaches but that's a whole other issue (with the county whatever lol) Like Mineola is just the no beach for you! Except this one. Obviously yes we can go to literally any beach if you wanna pay non resident fees or go to actual real beaches Jones, long beach, robert moses etc. I'll just stop my ranting and it's not this beaches fault lol. I gave another star because I liked the poop bags everywhere available. Have to come back with our pup :P They also have great events here though it's been years I still have fond memories.

Then asking her if she was SURE considering he is a service dog, she said "well where is his tag showing service dog" so I said "it's right on his vest that he's wearing... but that's not required to be there just so you know" then she proceeded to say "well you can get that anywhere, where are his papers" and I said "WE DO NOT NEED PAPERS HE IS A SERVICE DOG". This whole interaction was extremely disgusting for her behavior. The fact that I was treated as if I was lying and then asked for papers which is illegal and NOT required to have as of New York State was crazy. I will never recommend this place to anyone.
