I was referred to Dr Webb to repair an issue with a previous surgical incision. I have EDS and am new to the Reno area, so finding someone who understands this disease, was great! Dr. Webb is a kind and knowledgeable surgeon. He is through, listens well, very attentive and will respond when you have questions or issues. My surgery went extremely well, with Post Op care being treated with equal importance. I am very happy with Dr Webb and staff! I am quite surprised at the minimal scar. And this is hard to believe, I know, but I did not even bruise! At. All. No bruising. He is incredibly talented, answers all questions, takes his time and doesn't leave the room until all your questions and concerns are addressed. I'm two weeks post-op and couldn't be happier with the recovery and again, very minimal scar. Dr. Shonnard is an expert in his field and he earned 100% of my trust. Dr. Juell is well known in the Reno area for his surgery skills and dedication to his patients. His nurse, Jenny, is great also for answering questions. Dr. Juell also did a robotic laproscopic hernia repair surgery for me this year (2018). I was fortunate to have a fast recovery and no problems whatsoever. Brian Juell, M.D., is down to earth in his approach and personality. Consulting w/him, it was easy for me to see he stays current w/medical research and surgery techniques. He's never told me what to expect., how long till they heal, how to walk with no toes, and how long should I keep my foot elevated, and try not to walk. The wait was a tad long considering that the office appeared empty. A major turn-off occurred when I was billed by the physical therapist with whom they share a building. I've never made an appointment with a physical therapist in my life! It looks like the physical therapist's office was somehow given access to my insurance information and then decided to bill me. I duly reported it to my insurance as fraud, but the whole ordeal left a bitter taste in my mouth.

He tells you what is wrong, gives you your options and you go from there. In no way does he suggest surgery without trying everything else. He explains very well. I truly love this man. He is the reason I'm still walking. His office staff is great. His nurse Rachel is awesome. It's a pleasure to see her every visit. She makes my day. Dr Rappaport performed a 3 level surgery on my neck. That was back in June of this year 2023. I feel like I have a new neck. Dr R is an amazing surgeon and everybody who works for him has always been so kind and efficient. I have recommended two other people for surgeries who were hopeless and they are happy as well.

With the first nerve block he hit the correct area with his needle! I called it the "money shot", and knew there was hope for a better outcome than my previous ablations. Since 2 nerve blocks are required, I had to wait a little longer for the final 3rd visit to get the ablation. Being in the room with just him and ( Tech ) Dave was calming and relaxing. They both treated me with such tender care. My neck is doing REALLY well. Dr. Jacob Blake is 100% worth the wait.

I just moved to Tahoe Donner from the Bay Area so I'm not used to only having 1 dr. to see. He gave me a few vicadin and was supposed to call to schedule an epidural. I was getting them by a "real dr" before this idiot, I had to remind Dr. Blake to look over my MRI because he forgot he he ordered one for me before his departure from Truckee. I phoned Dr Blake's office prior to Thanksgiving. I spoke again on the answering machine. Again, no response. I'm am over it. I'll go back to Stanford where I won't get the shotty treatment. He should be ashamed of himself.
