Pros: friendly and punctual crew Cons: sloppy work that damaged our stucco, flashing cut haphazardly, fasteners in questionable locations, heat tape placed in incorrect orientation and incorrect location, roof vents out of plumb, and poor cleaning of job site (razor sharp shards of metal flashing left around perimeter, no magnet used to pick up nails, etc). When contacted after my first review the company did not offer to rectify the situation. Instead, they became defensive and claimed that "a repair can only look so good." Other roofers in town can make a repair look as good as new and that should be the standard to which work is done.

We were offered compensation, which is fair, then mentioned we would probably wait to replace until a future re-roof due to cost of reproduction mouldings. The price of replacement would be high due to the unique/custom profile of the Victorian mouldings, and it seems we scared him off... he allowed us to borrow his ladder but never responded to future messages. Ladder was picked up but communication never resumed, it has become clear we are no longer desired as clients. If you pay peanuts you get monkeys.

The next morning, in -20 degree weather I called the two main places in town, one of them being door systems, and ended up having the most awesome conversation with Bob, who is amazing and helped me so much. I paid for emergency service instead of waiting till the next week for service, and they had a guy there in ONE HOUR!! And then, to my amazement, the tech that came transformed my smashed and non working door back into a fully functional, nearly normal looking garage door again! You can hardly tell it was smashed and bent previously! Obviously it has some dents and marks and to be perfect again two of the panels need to be replaced, but damn! You have to look hard at the door to see that! I'd almost just leave it be and not spend the money to completely fix it! It's that good. I'm impressed. Anyway, I'll probably get it fully fixed, but I just have to say I am very impressed with door systems, Bob, and the guy who came and fixed my door. And all this for only $165!!
