If you have ever called any electricians, you should know most electricians bill based on trip charge (basic fee) plus labor time and material. Even they do nothing, they still charge for just showing up at the door. I was very happy that Daniel was willing to come out to give me a free estimate. This just makes him distinguishable from other electricians. He gave me a very detailed estimate. The price was reasonable, so I accepted it. Later I told him that I might need to replace an indoor outlet as it's loose. He offered to do it for free! What a wonderful customer service! Moses was the one who actually showed up to do the work. He's very polite and friendly. He explained to me his work. He was very patient with me when I didn't understand his explanation. He was great to work with. He also cleaned up after his work. His work showed a very good quality. I would highly recommend Strands Electric. Of course, whenever I need someone to do some electrical work, I will call Strands Electric.

What I've noticed in working with Nathanael, is that he really knows lighting... and can be super efficient with it. He understands what crazy little things called "lumens" are and he know how to use them. Yep, and he knows the color variance between the different types of lighting and how the different type of lighting products will project light. He applies his knowledge so that when the space is finished... it feels like it should in the space. Each room turns out, just right. He doesn't over light the space, spending more than is necessary, and increasing the long term operating costs, and he doesn't let something be under-lit and uninspired. If you're asking whether or not a lighting designer is worth it, I'll say in my experience, its a resounding yes. He's worth every penny.

To their credit, this company has an excellent office manager, Jasmine, who returns emails and calls immediately. They do care about pleasing their clients and when the job is finished, you will be very satisfied. Another update: I called Exact Electric to install electrical grounding after the system was disconnected when plumbers replaced old pipes. I quickly received a call from Manager Eric who came over to plan for the job and explain what needed to be done. He didn't charge me anything for the inspection. Within a week, Tom, a top-notch Journeyman, came out to resplice the GEC system insuring complete grounding of our electricity circuits.
