Wow, Wow, WOW! Enormous selection of vintage jewelry in every style and era. Something for…read moreeveryone here. Our group of 7 each found something, from vintage watches, rings, necklaces, earrings, Asian, African, Catholic, Christian, Buddism, Victorian, 70s, 80s, 90s, Mermaid...and so many more. We spent over an hour picking jewelry. There is a daily sales board right at the front, so you can save even more off the very reasonable vendor prices. There is a selection of furniture, books, and other items but to be honest we never made it past the vintage jewelry section. I spent less then $30 for 2 earrings, 2 bracelets, and 2 necklaces. I have gotten compliments on them already Highly recommend visiting!!

Cleburne on-site manager is rude, hateful, and discriminates in enforcement of company policies. When items are pointed out to her that are in violation of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, she verbally lies and says that she will have the tags description changed, and does not. This used to be my favorite store. It is obvious that the on-site manager has no idea how to build team spirit. Employees have left due to hostile work environment. You can also see that the remaining employees are working in a tense atmosphere. For a time period there were even signs, put on furniture for sell, not allowing you to sit down. For which I was reprimanded by manager. So anyone, including older and handicapped individual had nowhere to rest before continuing to shop. As a handicapped individual, I had to bring my walker in ( which I don't need as I can navigate with just a cane), so I had seating to rest while shopping. Awkward to navigate that with a shopping cart. Seriously, CORPORATE GOODWILL this is strike #2 in selecting managers for the Cleburne Goodwill. Also, and I have photos for documentation, despite numerous conversations with manager,multiple problems that customers encounter are not corrected. To test electrical items, the location of the outlets allowed are either nonfunctional or so low to the ground, that I have personally observed people sitting on floor to test things, and then needing assistance to get up. P.S. If corporate sees this,please remember how long it took you to realize about manager mistake #1...when you were warned at least 6 months before you finally took action.

When we moved to Granbury, we downsized. Initially we took our no longer needed items to Goodwill…read more Then we learned how much the CEO at Goodwill makes. It's a lot, around 500,000 dollars per year. A contractor friend then told us about Boys and Girls of America, so we started taking things there. We learen everything earned at the resale shop (on 377) stays in Hood County. Nice. Then our neighbor started volunteering at People Helping People (PHP), which we did not know about. We identified more with PHP and what they do. No one gets paid. It's all 100% volunteer, all the way to the top. We even saw a past Granbury mayor volunteering here! So now we take our items to PHP, and have even shopped here. There are two, indoor, resale shops. When we need something, we come here first. I found a great pair of matching cufflinks and tie bar here. Thúy got some nice knives to use in the garden and some cake pans. So now PHP is our go to place for donating, and shopping for hard to find items.
