I would not recommend this primary care physician based on my personal experience…read more At nearly every visit, she asked me to return the following month without any clear medical reason, which felt unnecessary and inconvenient. My final appointment was the reason I decided to change doctors. After waiting about 30 minutes, I was called in only to be asked why I was there, as if she had not reviewed my medical record. When I told her it was time for my annual physical, she said she did not have enough time to do it. I reminded her that I had already been waiting for about 30 minutes, but she replied that it had only been 25 minutes and told me to come back the following month. I also asked if she could order my blood work in advance so we could discuss the results at my next visit, but she refused and said she would only order it when I came back for the physical. Throughout my visits, I often felt unheard. She frequently interrupted me before I could finish explaining my concerns and gave me the impression that she was not truly listening. I never felt that my time or my health concerns were a priority. To be clear, my comments are directed solely at the physician. The nursing staff and the front desk team were always kind, courteous, and professional, and I have nothing but positive things to say about them.

I was scheduled to be there at 10:15am, now to come at 11am. I showed up right on time. Now it's 12pm and the nurse calls my name. Finally! But to my surprise, it was just another room to wait in. 12:15pm the same nurse comes in to check my blood pressure and asks me all about my family history. The nurse leaves. 12:30pm I hear a knock at the door-- a gorgeous black student doctor comes in the room. (Please don't take my blood pressure, please don't take my blood pressure, please don't take my blood pressure). So, he takes my blood pressure. Not to shock me at all, it's higher than 15 minutes before. As I come out of my head-fog, I notice he's asking me the same questions the nurse asked me. I told him I hadn't eaten all day on the chance they might need to take some blood. The student doctor leaves. 12:45pm, what is going on here?! I'm trying to keep my composure, when all of a sudden I hear the doctor (that I came for) say, "She's hungry, we're all hungry, everyone has to eat." Okay, cool I'm out. I get my purse and walk up to the desk to say that I've been waiting too long. The doctor notices me and says that she was just about to see me. "Sometimes it's an all day affair here." WHAT? It's 1pm! That's what she tells me! It took her not even 10 minutes to ask me the same questions that nurse and the student asked me an hour ago. And I was on my way. This doctor might be good, but if she isn't world renowned, no one should have to wait 2 hours.
