I went to March Family Dentistry to have a new set dentures made! This dentistry has all the newest and best equipment on-site and it was impressive when the process first started! But when the dentures arrived the problems started! I kept breaking and cracking the new dentures and they had to be sent back to the lab several times! The Dr. placed the root cause of the problem on me and my eating habits ... until finally Dr. March realized that the guide pin implant did not line up with the receptacle in the denture. Probably a lab issue, but the problem should have been recognized on the many previous visits by the other dentists in the office that tried to address the constantly breaking or cracking of my new (and expensive) sets of dentures! Dr. March re-positioned the retainer/receptacle "cups" in the denture and my problems went away! My final issue with March Family Dentistry came when I brought in an upper Denture which had a crack in it to be repaired, when it was returned from the lab and I went to pick it up, it did not fit well and I asked the dentist who delivered the denture to adjust the implement by lowering a high spot where the repair was made. She said the only suggestion she could make was to have the denture re-lined. Another dentist that I went to after my experiences with March Family Dentistry simply ground down the high spot and the denture fit fine! Even though this dentistry is staffed by some very nice people I will not return! They charge high prices - which would be fine if you received a high level of competency - but I did not get the results I expected!

After two visits, I would NOT recommend going here if you have complex jaw issues. My issue is that my discs are displaced and locked, not just that my muscles are sore bc of clenching and griding. Went I first saw Dr. Hoffman, he recommended botox in my masseters and temples. He also recommended a repositioning split. The bill that I was given at that appointment included both the botox and the fitting for the splint which was done at the follow up appointment two weeks later. This was well over $1k. At my follow up appointment, the fitting for the splint took only about 30 seconds which I found concerning. Then i got the price for the splint which was $4k. I did not feel comfortable paying this after a 30 second measurement, so I decided to get a second opinion before moving forward. He also told me that he has only treated this in 5% or less of his patients. Overall, I am very unhappy with my experience here. I felt pressured into spending over $1000 on something that was totally unnecessary. I wish he would have been upfront and honest about his ability to treat my issue and recommended that I go somewhere that is more specialized in TMJ problems.

There is a gift bag placed on the chair for you. Most dental offices I have been too, usually give a bag that has a toothbrush, toothpaste and floss, and given on my way out. In my bag, I was given a water bottle, calendar, pen, and hygiene kit that consisted of a toothbrush, toothbrush cover, floss, toothpaste, tongue cleaner, and squeeze-a-toothpaste thing to help squeeze out all your toothpaste. And one of the best things, is the chair is a massaging chair! Hiliare introduced me to my dental assistant, Tracey. She took the films, and went over my health questionnaire. Tracey was great! From there, I met Sharon, my hygienist, then Dr. DiBenedetto. Dr. DiBenedetto went over everything Tracey and Sharon did, including my imaging. He explained everything in detail and answered all my questions, and gave recommendations. Finally, I went back to Sharon for my cleaning and she talked through everything she did, explained everything in detail. At the end, she scheduled my follow-up appointments. The office visit is about 2 hours, but we were in there a little bit longer because my husband is very sensitive to cleanings and they had to numb him. But other than this, for me, it didn't even seem that long because everything was so seamless from start to finish. This office is top notch and if you reside in the south suburbs of Illinois, I highly recommend coming here. You will not be disappointed.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hutniks since the very beginning. And his consistent devotion to the welfare of his patients above all else that has not changed since day one. But I never appreciated him more than when I recently underwent an emergency root canal procedure with him.. It seems Dr. Alex has a whole separate gear to handle these situations. It began with a slight nagging toothache, very minor, but concerning because I am fortunate enough to never get toothaches. On a whim, I called the office (closed-it was 6 p.m. on a Sunday), debated, then chose the option for the emergency line and left a message. Within 10 minutes, I received a call back from Dr. Alex, who was on vacation at the time. As always, he showed deep concern, and asked questions to which I replied that I felt I was not in crisis. (I am prone to self-diagnosis which, honestly, rarely works out). "Just too much aggressive flossing". He offered to send an RX for antibiotics and pain killers just as a precautionary measure. I declined-so very sure I would not need them. Ha! He suggested alternating OC Anti-inflammatory and painkillers to help with the pain. Monday being a holiday, he told me to come into the office on Tuesday AM at opening and he would take me right away. Fast forward to 1 a.m. on Tuesday and awakening with a throbbing, excruciating pain the likes of which I have never experienced before. Yes, an abscess on my gum the size of Texas and, as we discovered later, an infected tooth. Dr Alex was in the office waiting for me and saw the problem immediately. He and his staff sprung into action and in the next hour and a half, performed the first of two non-invasive stages of a root canal procedure in a completely painless manner. And with the aid of state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment with amazing precision. But most of all, with caring and respect. Pain gone. Two weeks later, I returned for the final phase and am now in recovery. Still no pain! How do you thank someone enough for setting the gold standard for patient care? Try and tell the world.

Prior to going in to see Dr. Roshan and his team, I had researched several horror stories of Yelpers who went to other dentist and left with their teeth in extreme pain. Many suffered from discomfort from tray placements, severe sensitivity and temporary gum discoloration. With that said, I was prepared to feel a little discomfort and pain. I searched at least 30 reviews from dentist all over Chicago and all of their customers listed this as a common side effect. To my surprise, I didn't feel anything! Olympia Fields Dental Associates is truly a modern state of the art facility, specializing in the comfort of their patients. The whole process was different than what I was expecting per my prior research. My gums were entirely covered by a heavy-duty mouth guard that fit super comfortably in my mouth, thus there was no risk of gum discoloration. Next, they put a topical treatment on my teeth and turned on the Zoom light for increments of 15 minutes and magically perfection was created! I literally slept through the whole process. Mind you, I never use to sleep at the dentist for fear that I would wake up with no teeth. However, I can truly say they've earned my confidence and I can trust them with my smile. Dr. Roshan does all of my checkups, but I actually had my teeth whitened by another young lady, who was absolutely fabulous!
