I am a new man. Went…read moreto Dr. Bock to see if she could help me with difficulties breathing through my nose. She immediately deduced my issues were due to a deviated septum and enlarged turbinates. The first step was to see if using Flonase every day would help reduce the size of my turbinates, which it didn't. She said surgery was possible, and never pressured me to go through with it. I left it alone for a long time but eventually decided I was sick of it and visited Dr. Bock again. I got a septoplasty and turbinate reduction for my issues. It wasn't that fun, but I expected worse from what people told me. I think my case wasn't too severe, since a friend of mine said her issues during recovery were much worse. It's never been so easy to breathe through both nostrils in my life, and sleeping is so much easier now. Every step along the way, Dr. Bock was patient with me, explained things in detail, and seemed to genuinely care. Some other doctors I've been to (for other issues) really seem to not care and just want to get through as many patients as possible. Dr. Bock gets an A+ from me.

Excellent clinician--you'd be hard pressed to find someone better. Very discerning attitude with…read moresolid listening skills, really takes the time to evaluate symptomology. She ordered a test and took the time to examine in her office. Patient with diagnostics and none of the hubris that I so often and sadly run into these days. She's been doing this for a long time and has a ton of experience. Highly recommend for anything ENT related.

The wait…read moretime was about 3-4 weeks out for an appointment, but I was also looking at specific days of the week so it might be sooner if you don't have any time constraints. The allergy test itself was interesting and they test several environmental allergens. I also had to return on another day to test food allergens, as well as retesting some of the other environmental variables that I scored low sensitivity on. You get the results after waiting 20 minutes or so once you've had enough time to trigger a reaction. Dr. Anand was so friendly and personable. I felt like she was a very thorough clinician and really took her time to explain everything to me. She also took note of other issues that weren't quite in her scope, and referred me out to other specialists to make sure I got the care I needed. She then followed up with me to make the process smoother, which I truly appreciated. Other staff members (LVNs and front desk) are also informative and helpful. They do have a mask policy in place, and if you forget to wear one, they have plenty to spare. It is a healthcare facility after all and I don't think they should be rated poorly just because of a policy to ensure the safety of staff and patients alike.

I liked him immediately upon meeting him. Dr. Ellison and his staff are extremely professional and hold themselves to what they promise. He worked around my schedule and personal commitments to ensure I was taken care of. I also appreciate how the doctor himself personally returns phone calls and sees through everything. He also does things pretty much immediately when he says he will, which is very in line with my personality and earns him great respect in my eyes. I felt very at ease with him and trusted his opinion. How he keeps track of all his patients and everything going on is astounding. I also think the man works day and night. I accidentally called his direct line once late night, and thought I hung up before it rang. However, he called both myself and my partner a few hours later a bit past midnight because he was concerned something had gone wrong. You're in good hands if you're fortunate enough to get an appointment with Dr. Ellison!

She never made me feel that she needs to do other things and not just to see me. She definitely takes time to really know me and explain things very well on a level I would understand. I just had an outpatient procedure done by her earlier walking alone towards her office feeling slightly nervous which became intense as she first put the numbing medication into my nasal passages. Not, in any second, I felt unsecured and unsafe in the duration of the procedure. She made sure that I am okay with every process and took time until I am ready for the next step. I feel so blessed to have her as my ENT. I would say that so far she is the most caring doctor I've ever had. I am also in health care and I hope to be atleast half of how she is when it comes to patient care.

I should have stuck with my gut and went to a ENT specialist at Stanford. She ignored my concerns. I came in for a nose bleed and it turned out to be very traumatic. Also before I continue she is now at San Mateo Medical center. She was not patient I felt like she was in a rush and had me go in between rooms and also the room was not organized. She has to step out a few times because of certain tools weren't in the correct place. After she treated me so quickly and not in a calm pace she left into another room to work with someone else. I didn't like how she didn't tell me what she was going to do when she was treating me and when I told her I was in pain she ignored me. I cried and I have a high pain tolerance. She ignored everything I said. It happend end so quickly and I wish I didn't have a bleed if I could I would've walked out. I will not come back to see her again! She shouldn't be treating patients this way! Just horrible! I never felt this way before! Smh
