Went to Christiansen Dental because I have another Dentist that does major work but did not have a regular dentist since I had been seeing the specialist for last two years and thought it would be wise to get one and since I moved my family would need one close since we now live in Centennial. Anyway, someone saw dollar signs and did not confirm my insurance was not maxed for the year. They would blame me of course, but the reality is that for what they overcharged me I could have gotten an implant instead of a crown that was bound to fail (one previous crown failed in less than a year). Christiansen Dental promptly lost my entire family as patients (four people). Some of the front office people were nice, but a few of the younger one's were the suburban pretension types (you're a freaking dental assistant get over yourself) and not any fun like other offices I had been in the past. The kind of dental assistants that talk about their vacations, kids and stuff to each other like your not in the chair and you almost feel like YOUR eavesdroppings on their conversation. I had to go back to my Dentist that is a specialist and he promptly put in an implant and problem was solved. Christiansen Dental should have checked my insurance before they hopped right into major work and I would have delayed what they had been doing until the new year or just disregarded this Dentist for the major work and waited to have my Specialist place an implant and had this dental office just do regular cleanings, etc.. The implant to fix Christiansen Dental's work cost me exactly three hundred dollars more than what I was charged for only part of the work performed for a root canal/crown that was starting to crack within a month. You live and learn, but Christiansen Dental (probably front end staff duties) lost four new patients who had federal insurance benefits due to outrageous charges and not even attempting to obtain prior authorization before starting major work. Total ripoff! I wish the elder brother would have been there at that time because he may have used common sense with his experience and prevented all of this crap. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Bart for quite a few years now, my entire extended family that lives in the Denver area sees him as well. We are all very happy with the staff and the services here. My wife and I have never had a bad visit for cleaning or any other work. I have referred many friends and co-workers and they have all reported good experiences with Dr. Bart. If you are not a fan of the Dentist and have had a bad experience before, try this office and I think you will be pleasantly surprised by how the bedside manor of Dr. Bart makes the visit easy to handle. read more

I was traveling with my family to Colorado when I broke the veneer on my front tooth. I scrambled to find a someone to put in a temporary so I could enjoy the rest of my vacation, but couldn't find anyone willing to give me a temporary. When I finally came across Christiansen Dental, they were able to get me scheduled the next day. They not only made me a temporary free of charge (!!!), the quality of the temporary was so good that it lasted until my regular dentist was able to order a new veneer. I had one appointment with Dr. Christiansen and I will not go back. The front office staff was nice and the dental hygienist was very nice but when Dr. Christiansen walked in the exam room, he didn't introduce himself or say hi- he just started talking. It took me a few minutes to figure out he was the doctor and not just an assistant. He gave me limited information about my dental health and overall he was just aloof. I've been going to Dr. Bart for the past year or so and his office is always running on time (a plus in the dental industry) and he has a great "bedside" manner. I can't say I really enjoy getting my teeth cleaned or getting the odd filling, but if you've got to get it done, come here! read more

Have consistently enjoyed Dr. Bart, and most of the dental hygienists in the practice are really nice. However, the office manager Terri is far from friendly, as she will cut you off and speak to you in a condescending manner. She is abrasive, and doesn't take the time to actually listen to the patients/clients. I've encountered this a few times (called about billing and was talked to like a complete idiot for not understanding dental coding), and I'm sorry I didn't act on it sooner. Why is a person like this representing the practice? And why should anyone (especially a loyal patient) be on the receiving end of this behavior? DO NOT go to Dr. BART. Dr. Bart and his staff are greedy, liars, mean and rude. You would have to see IT as they DISGUISE it with being "FUNNY". Also don't be fooled, they all act super-nice on first visit to get the business and then show true colors when you come to do the real work. I never had such an awful experience at the dentist before !!! :((((((( I went here because I was having a slight pain on my right bottom tooth. Dr. Bart started the filling BEFORE the NUMBNESS kicked in. It was HURTING while doing the filling; so he numbed it again and did the work. After the filling and numbness went; my right side started throbbing like hell!!! I went there for three times to "ADJUST the bite". Each time Dr. Bart would drill to "adjust the bite" and would hurt even more. It reached the point where my right side of forehead, jaw, shoulder started throbbing and I could not sleep the whole night. I was on pain killers for two weeks on and off. Extremely sensitive to hot, cold and bite. I could hardly eat/ sleep; all after doing a filling. To add it to it; he and his assistant were annoyed to see me when I came to adjust the bite ( as he can not charged me for that time). They have a way of showing annoyance by saying rude, mean and sarcastic things in a funny tone. THAT DOES NOT MAKE IT FUNNY!!!!! Dr. Bart said he is doing a minor filling on left side and do not need a sedation. He started drilling and when I SCREAMED he said " you did not do well here". really??? I am neither a kid nor stupid. I am 32 year old woman and a mother to an infant for Christ sake. Oh!! Dr. Bart "recommended" to do the BRACES as some my teeth are receding in the gums!!!! Wow!!! what a LIAR to get money! I do NOT need braces!!!!. After the pain never went away for weeks and while caring for my infant I was googling my symptoms as I was horrified to go back to Dr. Bart or any dentist. I figured out what was the problem and I do NOT need braces. He asked me to smile and said it is "OK" and not perfect. Really? I am not boasting but I have a beautiful smile. ( Not Hollywood style!!!) Also at every visit to adjust the bite he would find some cavity and do the filling. I did not doubt it at that time as I never had a bad experience with our family dentist out of Colorado before. But now with the pain he caused and all money making lies I doubt if I needed that many fillings especially he kept finding new one with every visit and I did not have pain with that teeth. His assistant and personal hygienist are very rude too!!!. When I asked I wanted to see in the mirror the tooth they worked on his assistant said I could see it in the bathroom. how rude???:XXX. Dr. Bart has bad manners too. He would not greet you, say hello or thank you. The front desk is the same. They would act super-nice for the initial 15 minute consultation to get your business. After that awful !!!! Also Dr. Bart and his assistant would talk about their personal life while working on your teeth as if you don't exist. Very rude and unprofessional!!!! Front desk Jen would say "YES" to everything about the type of cards they accept to get your business. I did not have problem as I used my other card but it shows the VALUE of the practice they do here. Please save yourself the horror if you need the actual work done besides cleaning. Till now I have been lucky with out family dentist and did not know dentist would drill your teeth for money while disregarding your dental care and would cause this much throbbing pain. This practice is top notch. I have had this dentist for over 15 years and they have never failed me. Office staff is very friendly and dentist as well as assistants are excellent. I live in Mozambique and came to visit my family in the Centennial area - I chose Dr. Bart based on Yelp.com reviews and I was quite happy with the experience. I had very specific time periods during which I needed a fair amount of dental work done and I found the office and Dr. Bart to be very accommodating. Also, the office communicates via e mail which was great for me, as I was trying to make these arrangements from Mozambique and the Skype connection is a bit unpredictable. I found they got me in quickly, thoroughly explained my options, understood the need to prioritize needed dental work and worked out various options to maximize my insurance benefits. They also e mailed me my x-rays, which is great. While I wasn't able to do all of the work they recommended, I plan on returning to Dr, Bart and his office when I come back to Centennial. read more

Dr. Bart is the greatest! I have to share my most recent experience. It was a Friday night and I was getting ready for a 2 week trip early Saturday morning. As I was flossing my teeth I accidently dislodged a crown. I was very distressed as I hated the idea of having a crown missing for 2 weeks. I cleaned the crown and brushed the place it had come out of. I set it back in and was amazed that it popped back in and fit tight. For 2 weeks I had the crown sitting there unglued and only twice did it come out, both times when I forgot not to chew on that side. I went in and had it re-glued when I got home, but am still just amazed at what a fantastic fit the crown was! read more

Dr. Bart Christiansen is a blessing! After my long time dentist retired, I have struggled to find a competent one. Over the past few years, I have had some dental work done by two terrible dentists and was in desperate need for one that was trustworthy and knew what they were doing. When I found Dr. Bart I was relieved. He is highly professional and kind, and most importantly, competent!! (He also has a sense of humor which always makes it easier to be at the dentist.) My experiences with him or anyone in his office - the hygienist, staff, and receptionist - have been 100% positive and I am totally satisfied with his work - hallelujah!
