They neglected to inform me of the hoa rules to a complex I was living in until 4 months after I moved in. I chose the property for its garage and was upfront about my intention to use the garage for storage and also my plans to put up a temporary enclosure on the deck to keep my car from getting out as coyotes had been spotted multiple times in the vicinity. The property itself looked great on the surface but after only a few weeks I came to realize it was not up to code in terms of many things and I still wonder 4 years later if it was even legally rentable. 4 months into my stay I was informed of multiple how rule violations which all contradicted what red house had told me in person. Eventually I discovered black mold and informed red house who asked me to clean it off myself and ignored me for 3 weeks until I got a lawyer - eventually the mold had to be cut out of the wall and the area tented off with both a fan and a dehumidifier running for almost two weeks. I was also forced to take down the cat enclosure and 4 days later my cat was killed by a coyote. I also had too clear out my garage and arrange it per the hot rules, which in this case required it to look capable of parking a car. I had to rent a storage unit across the street for another 200 dollars a month. There Is plenty more I could go into detail about and in fat I had written a review previously but it looks like red house paid yelp to remove it

After bringing it to my brothers attention he arranged a meeting with 2 gentleman from Keep Your Keys. I was immediately suspect and assumed they were grifters ready to assume control of my moms house with their fast talk and slick moves. They were very nice, informative and didn't sugar coat the situation. They explained what exactly was happening, where my moms house was in the foreclosure process as well as potential routes out of this nightmare with the resources we had available. We ended up filing for bankruptcy with a lawyer they suggested and were able to hold off the auction long enough to receive an inheritance and pay off the arrears. Ill be honest I don't really understand how this company makes their money so always do your research, but what I can say is they drove 90+mins to speak with us, gave us sound advice, referred us to a competent bankruptcy lawyer and didn't charges us a dime.
