Not only did they give us a incredibly detailed step-by-step guide of the buyer's process, but also spent the time to learn more about us as people and what we were looking for in a home. Corbin had posted his experience online. Also liked that he had spent some time in New York Metro area for at least 8 years. Appraisal was done quickly. As far as the report goes, very detailed with sales comparison analyses and photos. Service was fast, quick, and efficient. Great communications. Very detailed and thorough report. I emphasized that I had applied 48 hours ago and wanted to know what my application status was. He said he'd have someone call me back with an update. That evening no phone call, but a form email saying another tenant was signing a lease and I'd be notified if it falls through. I'm very certain I was the first to apply to this property, but they did not follow protocol of screening applications in the order of receipt. Then the lack of follow up and sounding completely clueless about the status of applications was extremely frustrating. I suppose I dodged a bullet not renting from Good Life. I feel bad for the property owner of the home as they would have gotten more in rent from me, and I was ready to sign the lease immediately. Good Life needs to learn better customer service support.

In reality, we ended up having an extremely complex transaction that involved the Title company and also some very crazy and rare problems. When there is an easy transaction almost any escrow company can complete the project, but the measure of a good or great escrow company is when there are unknown problems and issues that arise and how well do they help the buyer and seller work things out. This was the most complex escrow I have ever experienced, with some of the most bizarre events occurring and through it all Alysia Espinoza and her team at Alliance Escrow helped the buyer and seller complete a successful transaction.
