So, imagine my surprise when my car got broken into last night, and two windows were smashed and they pulled out the wiring. I contacted a repair shop and they said fixing the windows alone would cost $500. My sister asked me why I didn't just go through insurance... dealing with the hassle wasn't how I planned my Friday but I decided to give it a try. First of all, it took me about five mins to get in touch with her. She asked me what happened, when it happened, and if the car was drivable. I said no, and gave her all the details she needed. She then told me about the closest shops to my house, literally less than a mile away, told me that they would call me, and then told me that I could get a rental car that was covered. Also explained how a deductible works in a very patient and kind manner. I was shocked by how easy everything was! 5 stars all around. I guess it's true... dad knows best! Thanks Tram.
