He had my parts for three weeks once and didn't call me to tell me he had them and after Rom left, he wouldn't inspect my car for no good reason other than he didn't like me but Rom was the nicest guy in the world and could fix anything no matter how complex it was. Fast forward to the new owner Joe. My wife brought her car there and Joe gave her an estimate of $400.00 so she brought it somewhere else and they did it for a hundred bucks. I suspect that Joe had no previous experience in the auto repair business.

I brought my car there for two things…read more One, to get an inspection, and two, to have a trailer hitch installed but instead they took it upon themselves to do a number of other things without my approval racking up a bill of about $2,500 that should have been less than $200.00. It's called padding and it's not unusual. I might have considered doing it had they called me and let me know but they didn't and in fact I would not have done it since the car probably isn't worth that much, and on top of it, the women at the front desk was extremely rude, arrogant and self-righteous. However, I did managed to get about thousand dollars back from my credit card company and I could have gotten more but I felt a little bad for them since I used to be a mechanic and they did do the work but I never did anything like this when I worked as a mechanic. Shops like this give mechanics a bad name and I'm sure you've heard the stories. I'll just add that they allegedly did a front end alignment and the car shakes like a paint shaker. Do you like to be screamed at when you purchase goods and services?
