The police came to help me,…read moreThe worst mechanic i have been seen in my 14 years experience as over the truck driver. $1950.75 for very short distance so I paid $500 extra than other towing companies to tow my my truck and trailer and he said he has the yard to drop my loaded trailer but he dropped it on the street somewhere, I called the dealer he said will charge me for 10 hours plus the part and this mechanic fix it in 6 days instead fixing it next day as he said, the clutch cost $1200 at the dealer and after market $700 and he was trying to charge me for $1800 but I take care of my part by ordering Uber even if the dealer too far, he didn't answer the phone and screem on me too much, he asking to pay him before road test on highway that's way I called the police because he's too nervous to avoid any problems, I added on night for nothing because he left at 5pm and asked me to pay if he can bring me my loaded trailer to let me go before testing the truck, he was asking for more than $6000 just for towing and labor when the police came he changed the bill for less than $6000, he said you can pay with zelle or credit card when I want to pay he asked for zelle payment only and i can't pay more than $4000 a day by zelle so the police takes me to the bank to withdrawal some cash to complete the payment, this police from Buchanan, NY gave a lot of help to avoid any problems can happened after I made the payment I drove my truck following the police car to pick my loaded trailer and I really appreciate that and thanks again for the police who helped me for all that effort and for the great job and thanks for Buchanan, NY police

My car was towed away by Pacific Automotive after an accident on March 1, 2025in Peekskill even…read morethough I had called my own tow truck and that tow truck arrived prior to the Pacific tow truck. it seems the Peekskill Police called Pacific to the scene and then did not let my preferred tow take my car. I then directed Pacific to take my car to my mechanic in Peekskill. He took my car away and brought it to his lot in Crugers. He would not allow me to pay him and remove my car because he said his lot was closed. I couldn't retrieve my car until Monday March 3 when he reopened his lot. Then, I was charged an additional $100 for storage. The first woman I dealt with said I could pay by credit card, but when I went to pay the ransom for my cat on Monday, I was told this was cash only. I then had to drive back to Peekskill to get cash to free my car. This was a horrible experience dealing with horrible people. Then in the end they released my car to my son in law and daughter never even asking for ID. All they care about is money, not caring who they get it from. I would not recommend anyone using this company. I would have given no stars but this wasn't possible

Despite this, we were charged $1,187.59 which was clearly presented as a deposit on the invoice, but later we were told it was the total charge for the visit and diagnosis. The pricing and communication were misleading and it felt like unnecessary delays were used to increase the bill. I would not recommend using this company and suggest others get everything in writing before agreeing to service.

While disconnecting the driveshaft is standard practice to protect the transmission, their driver completely failed to secure it to the vehicle. During transport, the unsecured driveshaft flew off the bus onto the road and was completely lost. This is not only gross negligence that caused immediate, expensive mechanical damage to our vehicle, but it was also an incredibly severe safety hazard to every other driver on the road. A heavy-duty driveshaft breaking loose at highway speeds could have easily caused a fatal multi-car pileup. When we contacted them about their mistake, they ignored me. Absolutely unprofessional and dangerously negligent. We will be pursuing a formal commercial insurance claim and reporting this to local authorities. Avoid this company at all costs if you value your property and public safety."

The leak was deep under the cab behind a bunch of components, but they managed to reach in up to their shoulders and fix it, pressure-test the system, refill and button it up really fast. One of the men was bilingual. the other was likely in the process of learning English from Spanish. As an English-only speaker, I could still understand both of them fine, but it helped to listen closely and carefully. They just asked me to do such things as start/stop the engine and toggle controls on the heater. I was really happy with the work they did, and will certainly recommend them to anyone having issues with a commercial vehicle.
