While disconnecting the driveshaft is standard practice to protect the transmission, their driver completely failed to secure it to the vehicle. During transport, the unsecured driveshaft flew off the bus onto the road and was completely lost. This is not only gross negligence that caused immediate, expensive mechanical damage to our vehicle, but it was also an incredibly severe safety hazard to every other driver on the road. A heavy-duty driveshaft breaking loose at highway speeds could have easily caused a fatal multi-car pileup. When we contacted them about their mistake, they ignored me. Absolutely unprofessional and dangerously negligent. We will be pursuing a formal commercial insurance claim and reporting this to local authorities. Avoid this company at all costs if you value your property and public safety."

I was stranded when my lifts wouldn't retract and were on the ground. I couldn't drive it so they made a house call. I was then able to bring the RV to them and in one day everything was repaired. They are punctual, reasonable, knowledgeable and trustworthy. How many mechanics can you say that about? I can't say enough good about them.

I was up all night with customer service and they didn't help at all- they offered me a truck that was five hours away north of Peekskill and if I left then (midnight) I still would be able to get there and bring the truck to Brooklyn in time to meet my movers. Then when I called the reservation specialists in Brooklyn I was transferred and put on hold literally seven times without even being told I would be transferred each time because everyone is just kicking the can down the road. U-Haul is the most messed up faceless corporation with base zombies working for them. Never ever book with them. Budget offers trucks for rental. Also whoever I talked to who said I could pick up the truck later- I hope you find out what happens when you don't say "I don't know" when you should. If U-Haul have a shit about customer service they would have given me a truck and had an employee transfer the one in Peekskill to replace the one I took.

This is the most dishonest repair shop I've ever been to. I brought my car there for two things…read more One, to get an inspection, and two, to have a trailer hitch installed but instead they took it upon themselves to do a number of other things without my approval racking up a bill of about $2,500 that should have been less than $200.00. It's called padding and it's not unusual. I might have considered doing it had they called me and let me know but they didn't and in fact I would not have done it since the car probably isn't worth that much, and on top of it, the women at the front desk was extremely rude, arrogant and self-righteous. However, I did managed to get about thousand dollars back from my credit card company and I could have gotten more but I felt a little bad for them since I used to be a mechanic and they did do the work but I never did anything like this when I worked as a mechanic. I made an appointment to drop off my car Friday morning. I got a call asking me to bring it in Thursday night at about 5:00 p.m. which I did. The following morning at 7:45 a.m. I went to drop the staff some donuts and I was asked if I was there to pick up my car. I could not believe it was finished. A bolt was never replaced on my steering column by the dealership when they replaced my engine. I was an accident waiting to happen. They fix that, brakes, oil change and inspection for a very reasonable price. I am very impressed, and they have a customer for life. Straight shooters, honest and professional.
