The first time i met with Amy i told her what i "thought" i wanted .. she listened but gave a few different suggestions so i went with it... im so glad i listened because the color i had been choosing for myself was just wrong.. she is great with color and has a knack for seeing what would look good on me.. ive never been disappointed.. last time i had her wax and color my eye brows and i was so pleased with her work... I am so thrilled to have found Melissa Gilbert! Until Melissa, I was having a very difficult time finding a stylist who truly listened to my concerns and didn't get too "scissor happy". I have long hair and wanted to change up my style without losing length. I like to keep it safe with color; nothing too drastic. Melissa not only listened, but she fully discussed my options with me and took the time to explain her expert reasons why certain ones were better than others. I could tell she genuinely cared. I was a little nervous when I heard "balayage", but her approach and technique were so reassuring. I have been going to this salon for a long time. My stylist is Chris ( the owner) however I have seen other stylists there. First let me say, there is not a single one who doesn't do a FABULOUS job !! Chris started extensions on my hair about a year ago. I had a friend do the bead style and my hair was too fine so needless to say it became a disaster. Chris removed them and put in the correct ones (tape in) for my type of hair. I have been ABSOLUTELY LOVING them since. She is definitely a master stylist! I give her cart blanc with my hair . From color to cut ! SHE knocks her expertise in extensions out of the ball park ! I have been going to Chris Le Salon for approximately ten years. The salon is conveniently located on the Southwest corner of Tatum and Greenway in the Safeway shopping center. The owner, Chris, is professional, knowledgeable, and always stays up to date on the latest trends and products. All of the stylists are excellent, but my favorite is Megan. I love the way she does my hair. Whether I am getting color, highlights, cut or style, I am always happy when I leave the salon! I'd seen the same stylist for 17 years and had been unhappy with my cut for about 5 of those years. After making the break, I tried two other stylists but was again dissatisfied. Ali was behind the desk at Chris Le Salon and when I told her I wanted to talk about my hair, she said she was available. She immediately seemed to know what I wanted and so I let her cut my hair. I am sooooo happy! She did a great job, giving me just the style I wanted. It's easy to blow dry and style; everyday when I awaken, I have only to brush it out and it falls into place. I absolutely love this salon! Not only are the stylists professionals but the sweet gal that answers the phones is so helpful. I came from a family where my mom, aunt and grandmother did hair and when I moved from Indiana to Arizona, it was very difficult for me to find someone that I trusted to do my hair. When I first came to Chris, my hair was a mess and she truly helped me get my hair the way it was supposed to look. I've been wanting a drastic change for a while and I've gone to Chris Le Salon for years even though I lived in California. I also didn't know exactly what I wanted. So I made an appointment and showed my stylist a few inspiration styles and the rest I let her roll with it and I couldn't be any more happier with my new hair! I cut off about 4 inches of my hair and I went really light. Which is huge for me since I've never done this before. But it was such a great experience and I can't wait for my follow up appointment. Jennifer is such an asset to this salon. Her bright personality and talent for this trade is bar none! Its hard to find a stylist that will listen to what you want, talk with you about what you want and deliver. Jessica Ruskin is a fantastic hair stylist and colorist. She has been my only stylist for the past 6 years and I would not think of allowing anyone else near my hair with a pair of scissors or a bottle of color. This place is by far the best salon out there ... I have been trying different places and being as im the really picky one, specially when it comes to my hair and appearance in general, I just couldn't find the right one... Hannah, the receptionist, was patient with me when I called to make an appointment. They have an answering machine so they don't have to put you on hold and they never miss a call. My appointment was made and I was going to meet with hair stylist Jules. He was fantastic. Very kind, easy to talk with, listened to me and his suggestions were exactly what I wanted. Melissa has been doing my hair for over a year, and I couldn't be happier. She cuts & highlights my short hair just perfectly. I told her that I am not good at doing my hair, and she gave me a cut that is super easy to style in very little time.
