I'm a fan of working with specialists in their field so that I don't have to try and know it all or keep up with it all. Robert is a true professional and knows this business better than anyone else I've met in the mortgage industry. I'm a real estate broker and have seen first hand the broad spectrum of capability and professionalism (or lack thereof) in the mortgage business. The no-nonsense approach and the delivery of market data and financing options by the team at Cornerstone enables the client to better understand what will make the most sense for their unique situation. Each time the site says it's good to go, but it never works. I have tried on my own and had associates of this company do it with me on the phone and it still never worked, causing every single payment of mine to be late and charge me more money. Even trying to pay via my card online is impossible, forcing me to call and pay via phone just to get charged for paying via phone. Never do business with this company.

When…read moreI went in person to address this and also cash a check (since not wanting to put anything into my account due to it being overdrafted by almost $1000) I was Told not asked by "Tiffany" the branch manager at the time extremely rudely and without any thought or interest in trying to help me through my time of being scammed through THEIR system. I needed to deposit the check because that's the money I owed them. I deposited the check and paid off the scammed amount of money. Looking back I absolutely cannot stand how she pressured me into doing that and I have not used my account with them since. I do not recommend this bank because the branch manager basically did a shake down on me and I hope all of her colleagues see this. -No I have not received that amount back to my account -I was treated like I was the scammer not the victim -I feel bad for anyone working under Tiffany.

    Where do I begin with this one?…read more Well, I guess first and foremost, I say thank you. Thank you to OMC Broker, Dale Ostrander and his Loan Processor, Linda Darneille. You helped make our American Dream a reality. That's right folks, my husband and I just bought our first home! There was nothing easy, or painless, or stress free about the last 110 days or so, but Dale and Linda at OMC Real Estate made it bearable. I honestly felt they worked FOR us, from day one. I don't think there was a single business day in the first month of searching for our home, that I didn't receive some sort of communication from Dale, whether through email or a phone call, that he had another one for us to look at. When the ONE finally came, it seemed too good to be true. A mile from my childhood home (being close to my parents was very important to me), in between the two cities my husband and I work in, and one of the cutest, no fixer-upper houses I've ever seen! Turned out, it almost WAS too good to be true. From the beginning, Dale wanted to keep us away from short-sales because of the slow process of closing them--short-sales are, unfortunately, what most of the real estate market consists of in this economy--so when the ONE fell into his lap before it even went on the market, and was a Bank Ready short-sale, we went with it. It was SO not bank ready. What should have been maybe a 30 day escrow, slooooowly turned into a regular short sale. When days turned to months, and I was starting to lose all hope of not only owning this home, but also snagging that wonderful $8,000 tax credit (Thank you Obama!), Dale and Linda didn't give up. Not one single bit. In the process of what is sure to be a person's most expensive and emotional purchase of their life, having a team like OMC is imperative. We'll never forget how they turned what could have been a bad experience, into the best outcome we could have hoped for. This might be the most near-and-dear to me Yelp I've ever written. I HIGHLY, recommend OMC Real Estate to anyone about to start the process of owning a home. We get the keys in four days...somehow, I think it will be an even longer wait than the past 110.

    Just completed a refinance on our initial home loan with Linda manning the ship and even though…read morewe'd just been in our new-to-us 1950's home 15 months interest rates dropped again when I received a call from Linda with the news in March of 2015. Ended up at the close of this refinance saving just over 2% across the board including a drop in the interest on our PMI and interest rate for the loan itself which yielded close to $200 in monthly savings on our mortgage payments. The thing that I appreciate so much about working with Linda is that she stays up to date on the ever changing Mortgage Market, programs available and works individually on each buyers unique situations to taylor make and work within the real life circumstances of said buyers aka: Us. An example of this would be that when we began this recent refinance this year; 2015 our new interest rate was locked in by Linda @ 3.75% down from its original rate just one year ago of 4.25% but during that time interest rates dropped again and so she locked in the new lower rate for us saving us even more money before the close of our refinance. She didn't have to do this but she did. I love this! Communicating with her is as always super clear, precise and streamlined as I have not once during the initial home purchase as well as refinance had to chase her down to submit required docs, check on the status of the process or follow up on my initial contact to her as she lead the process keeping us up to date the entire way. For me this is priceless extraordinary customer service. I trust her with the delicate matters of our home financing needs and to date there isn't another Mortgage Broker I can say this about. Even though her office is in Modesto and we reside in Sacramento the distance was never an issue as we were able to communicate and submit the required documentation electronically via fax and email. Closing? Was also pre arranged based on our availability by Linda and we were given the option to have a mobile notary or go down to a local to us Title Company. In the end we saved bank and now have an even more affordable home mortgage thanks to Linda's efforts and attention to detail. I cannot recommend her and her services enough!
