Her intuition, attention to detail, and tireless work ethic made the entire process not only smooth, but truly enjoyable. Carissa has a rare gift of understanding her clients on a deeper level. She knew exactly when to nudge, and thanks to her intuition and expertise, she found my dream home, and I couldn't be more grateful. I would recommend her to anyone who wants an agent who truly cares and goes above and beyond.

On our very first call with Jen, we described what we were looking for in Manhattan Beach and she immediately told us about several on and off-market properties that could work for us. We were surprised by how many listings in this area never made it into the MLS/Redfin/Zillow reports we were receiving daily. In a market as competitive as Manhattan Beach, this is exactly what we needed from an agent. Without ever being pushy, Jen and I were constantly texting and emailing about what was coming on the market and what was selling. After a number of showings, we opened escrow on an off-market home (the one we live in now) that we otherwise may have never known about. I would've gladly awarded Jen and Dave 5 stars if our experience with them ended there. But they truly went above and beyond for us throughout the escrow process. From pulling strings to get us last-minute appointments, to vendors offering us discounts just because we were clients of the Caskeys, we really felt like we received the VIP treatment. To top it all off, they blew us away with a very nice gift. Right around the time of closing, we met another couple who told us they knew the best agents in Manhattan Beach. I told them that wasn't possible because WE knew the best agents in Manhattan Beach. Turns out we were both talking about the Caskeys. And I think that just goes to show that our experience with Jen and Dave wasn't unique - they really strive to make every client exceptionally happy.

My partner and I were first time homebuyers and didn't know anything about the process. I met with Alyssa and she walked me through the basics in a way that I could easily understand. She got us set up with the Compass app so we could search for homes through the app and let her know ones we were interested in. For every home, she followed up with the seller's realtor to get the status of the home. She went with us to open houses or set up private showings. It's such a big purchase, and having someone knowledgeable about what to look out for was super helpful. She let us know pros and cons for the homes we looked at and it really helped us make a decision. Once we found a house we loved, she put in the offer and took charge from there, which I appreciated. She explained the steps in escrow and kept us updated along the way. We had to counter offer and her advice on was probably what got our offer accepted! Alyssa helped set up the home inspections, plus contractor inspections to get quotes for repairs. I didn't have any experience with this, so being able to rely on her and her trusted contacts was invaluable. The closing process was very smooth and we ended up with a great house. The whole Ito Orio group were great throughout the entire journey - always sending updates, getting signatures, communicating with all the parties, everything was seamless. They all made the process super easy and I'm especially thankful to have had Alyssa's guidance during the process.

Once we were connected with Scott, everything was less stressful and he was able to help us navigate the home-buying process from start to finish. My husband and I also are not originally from the South Bay area so having someone who grew up here and is familiar with the area was extremely helpful! Communication: Easy peasy! Scott was always easy to reach and promptly replied if any questions came up. Expertise: Scott was able to answer any questions that we came up with based on his knowledge and previous experience. He was able to clearly explain the process and paperwork to us non-real estate folk and provided us with insight throughout the entire process. Overall, we had a great experience working with Scott! He is so friendly, easy to work with, and gets the job done! We honestly do not know if we would be able to have purchased a home without his assistance. We highly recommend working with Scott!!! We all want a real estate agent who treats our purchase or sale of OUR home as if he or she was…read morebuying or selling THEIR OWN home. But we all know this isn't how the industry works. Agents making a few points of commission on a sale are incentivized to make deals happen quickly rather than making sure the match is great. If you buy a house that's 90% of what you want instead of 100%, or sell a house for $50K less than it's worth, that's a good outcome for the agent if they can avoid another month of work. It's just human nature and economics. Before meeting Jennifer I had worked with two other real estate agents (on the purchase and sale of my former home), and they both fit the mold described above. They worked hard for me, but they definitely wanted transactions done quickly, as long as they were "good enough." Jennifer is not a "good enough" agent. She truly treats the transaction as if she were buying or selling her own home. This is the biggest compliment you can give a real estate agent, because it's so rare. But with Jennifer it's completely true. Let me give a couple of examples. Early in the process of buying a home in LA, we came across a home that seemed to meet most of our needs. It had been on the market for a bit of time, and Jennifer explained why she thought that was. We thought about putting in an offer anyway, but Jennifer said -- "We can do better than this. This place doesn't have X or Y," which were two things we wanted. Later in our buying process, we ended up in a situation where we were bidding against several other buyers for a very attractive home. Once the price reached a certain level, Jennifer told us point blank that she thought the bidding was getting too high, and she just didn't see the value in the house. By that point we trusted Jennifer enough that had she said, "This is a perfect house for you -- just push a little above your budget," we probably would have done it. But Jennifer's not like that. She gave us sound advice even though it meant more work for her, with no immediate payoff. We ended up finding a perfect house for us, in a really hot area of LA. We nearly didn't get this house -- it went into escrow several times with different buyers, but the deals fell through for random reasons. Jennifer helped figure out what those reasons were (because of course we were worried that it was a sign that the house had problems), and her good relations with the selling agent (who she had never met before the transaction started) was key in us ending up in the house. During our buying process, we had a number of agents say, "You picked a great agent -- Jennifer is so great to work with." (In fact, the owners of the condo we rented when we first came to LA met Jennifer, and asked us for her contact info when we moved out because they liked her so much.) Jennifer knows LA; she grew up here and has worked in the community before she came a real estate agent. She knows school districts, seemingly small but important information about individual streets (I once emailed her an address and she immediately replied saying that street backed into a very busy street, and she suspected the back yard would be noisy -- she was right, and she knew it in 10 seconds just by seeing an address of a tiny side street that's only like 2 blocks long!), traffic, aircraft noise.... her knowledge is amazing. But the main reason to use Jennifer is that she takes your perspective throughout the process. Again, she really treats it as if she's buying her own home. We love the home we ended up in, and we wouldn't be here without Jennifer.

From our very first conversation, it was clear we were working with someone who genuinely cares...not just about closing a deal, but about finding the right home for the people he works with. What truly sets Donald apart is his local knowledge. It's not something you can fake, and it's NOT something you'll find on Zillow. We had a pretty specific neighborhood in mind, and when we were up against a tight timeline, Donald didn't just wait for listings to pop up... he actually called around the neighborhood to uncover potential off-market opportunities. That kind of proactive hustle was everything. We were under a real time crunch, and his willingness to go above and beyond to make things happen for us truly set him apart. He found us our DREAM home. Donald was communicative, patient, and always made us feel like we were his top priority. He kept the process smooth even when things got stressful, and his calm confidence gave us real peace of mind. We never felt pressured, just guided...and that meant everything. Anthony and I are so grateful to Donald. If you're looking for a realtor who will show up for you, know the market like the back of his hand, and make the whole experience actually enjoyable, Donald is your guy. Truly can't say enough wonderful things about him as a realtor and overall as just an amazing human being!
