The atmosphere and service are spot on but there was something odd about the ramen. The broth in…read moreparticular had almost a bitter taste and not the rich umame that I'm use to. Sometimes this can be covered if the noodles or vegetables stand out but nothing was too exciting. Not that you would go here for this but the wifi was pretty much non exsistant as well. That being said, it's in a vary cute Alley and the design is very sleek for a ramen shop. The veggie bun we got was good with great texture and richness.

Wow I was craving soup and I'm so glad I found this place. After having only Mexican food all week,…read moreI wanted a change and at first I was hesitant because like.. ramen in mexico is not the first thing you wanna try on vacation here. This place did not disappoint! I'm from San Diego and we have a lot of authentic ramen, but this place def did a great job to keep the authenticity. Not to mention the value for all the food we got! Worth it compared to the prices we get back at home. They also decorated it really cute, but it was a bit hard to find because the sign is small. But just look for ROOSTER cafe because it's to the right of it. For food we ordered shrimp Gyozas, shumai, chicken karagge, and tempura shrimp baos. My fav was the gyoza hands down, shumai next and then the baos. I thought the chicken karage were like the Japanese style ones but they're actually just wings! Still tasty though. We also ordered the vegetarian ramen and half order size were perfect for us because we also had the appetizers. I'm sure the other ramens would be amazing but I don't eat pork so it was a great veg option for me. We will definitely be back to try some other dishes, the yakisoba looked delicious!

Wow pretty blown away by this hibachi place. I did not expect it to be as good as it did!…read more You must make reservations here before hand and usually reservations fill up quick so make one as quick as possible when you can! Once you check in, you get sat down at a hibachi table and soon the waiter takes your drink order. The waiter also explains that the menu is the same for everyone which includes chicken, steak and shrimp with fried rice. The chefs soon roll in with thier carts and introduce themselves and start the show. Each chef has a unique way but in the end its all the same and reminds me of pretty much any hibachi place I have been too. Food was good but a bit salty like majority of the food here. Probably to match the salty american taste buds of most people. Also the food was little in quantity and unlike other resturants, you cant really ask for more because they can't make more right there again. I felt like I only got half the amount I should've gotten because the chef ended up taking a good 1/3 of what he made in each step (fried rice, shrimp, steak, chicken, veggies) for himself in the back. I just wished if he was gonna also mske food for himself then he should've brought more ingredients and not make us have to not get enough food. My reservation was at 6pm and I ended up getting hungry again and went to the itallian resturant around 9 for some pasta. Show was good, food was good just tad salty, service good, just quantity of food was too little. It was just a taste more than anything..
