Ordered delivery and the service was quick. The sushi leaves a lot to be desired. The spicy tuna roll looked overly dyed and they also used dyed ginger. Ginger isn't pink. My husband did enjoy the rainbow roll. The Baltimore roll was spongy and lacked flavor. The rest of their food options may be delicious so I didn't want to go too low on the stars. read more

I haven't ordered much from Chopstix since they closed their doors but they opened up again and so this was my first time dining in for years! When I first came in it was quiet and relaxing, the appearance is decent. This is a family restaurant and they were very friendly. We got the miso soup, shrimp toast, bento box, and the rainbow roll. The food came quick and everything was delicious and presented well. Definitely dine in instead of carry out/delivery for the experience and free dried noodles. The service was great, they were friendly, and the food was good. This is definitely my new go to Chinese place! read more

First time we ordered online they forgot about our order, after an hour I gave a call and they told me they forgot it and rushed and our food wasn't all the way done... Tried again tonight and talked to a lady on the phone. Asked to fried rice and didn't get it. She told me I didn't tell her that but my husband even heard me. Another place we won't be back to. First time ordering from here and I had it delivered. Very nice delivery driver and he had the appropriate covid mask on. Everything was organized well, cold food separate from hot. Pretty amazing Thai green curry and the tofu was the best I've ever had. The avocado roll was perfect as well. The sweet tea was really sweet, even sweeter then McDonald's sweet tea. The lady was nice. That's about the best I can say. The inside was kind of a mess. Definitely not a "date night" spot. The food. Okay. I had Thai coconut soup. It was like watered down sugary coconut milk. The "sushi" is presented sort of well. But not really all too well made. One roll was fishy. It had tuna that was blow-torched and although it presented well, tasted like they attempted to smoke it then gave up and blow torches it instead. All I can say is that it was cheap Chinese at outrageous prices. I don't expect much in Pasadena, but this was not the place for me. Well, I ordered Thai Basil with beef. It was a pickup order so I did not check until I got home. plus it would have been impossible to check as the restaurant is not open, COVID19 compliment, all good with that. They call you when your order is ready, and then you go to the door after. I realized chopsticks Thai basil with beef has no actual Thai Basil, after I got home and started eating. Or any basil for that matter. They make a "Thai basil sauce". And then put beef with it. Plenty of onion, plenty a bell pepper, plenty of scallion, not a lot of beef. And I forgot the order of white rice.I also asked for extra hot, and was expecting a number of the little red or green chili peppers. Guess what? No hot peppers, but there was some pepper seeds in the sauce. It was not hot. My two-year-old ate some of the onion with the "hot extra basil sauce". The fried rice was not bad. read more

Ordered carry out.. shrimp egg foo young this past Saturday night ... it smelled okay when I opened it but once I Mixed It and ate it .. It made me VOMIT ... the egg was burned the FRIED rice was like mushy steamed rice with way too much soy sauce on it and the shrimp were slimy .. this was my first and LAST time eating there.. had I not been so sick the next day I would of taken the food back for a refund. 2 orders of vegetable egg rolls. Simple enough right? Called for pick up, was told it'd be less than 10 minutes. Almost 20 minutes later they were ready. AWESOME right? Wrong. These egg rolls are what you'd feed to your dog if you were punishing it for misbehaving. They were burnt, tasteless, greasy and to top it off....almost 8$ for 4 egg rolls. The atmosphere and decor in the restaurant may not be the prettiest but the food is excellent and the service is great. They are also so Friendly and very hard working. I am super picky about food, especially Chinese food, and I live about 20 minutes away from here, and will pass by 10 other Chinese restaurants just to go to ChopStix. I made the mistake of trying other places closer, never doing that again. Chopstix has my vote every time now. read more

Excellent food. They seem to use only good quality meat and lots of it in each dish. You can get a small or a large of anything which is nice. We recommend the Kung pao, pork fried rice, general cho's, and sesame beef! We've only ever done takeout but it seems like a reasonably family friendly atmosphere. read more

We loved Chopstix when it was in Elizabeth's Station...It was still good after it moved to current location...for a time..The last 5 years or so, it was not so hot.. We stopped ordering from there a few years ago...Last week my husband happened to walk by and grab a menu...The menu was completely new and features Chinese, Japanese and Thai options...We ordered Sushi.....Spicy Tuna and Crispy Tuna...also the Fried Rice with Pineapple and Cashews...ALL OF IT WAS EXCELLENT! We were very happy with our choices...and we will be ordering SUSHI DELIVERY again soon! It is awesome to have a great sushi and Chinese delivery option so close! read more

Oh my. The first indication sound have been the run-down shopping center, but I continued. My second indication was the stale smell of cigarettes (perhaps a former bar?). The place was completely empty. I still continued. For those that are calling this authentic Thai or Chinese food, you have clearly never had anything close to the real deal. The drunken noodles and general tso's tasted as though they were made with ketchup. There was far too much fish sauce on the drunken noodles. Eek! is right. Picked up a carry out order over the weekend, the first time I've tried this place. The scene I encountered upon walking in was down right dirty. Uneaten meals on tables, shoes laying about the un-vacuumed floor, and an odor so unappetizing I did not even want to pick up my meal. However, because I have manners, I paid for the food ordered using the very convenient app. The tempura was actually quite good, but whatever they are trying to pass off as crunchy spicy tuna roll was some sort of strange (warm!), possible fish puree. As this restaurant (I dare call it such) offers delivery service, many may not know the conditions in their location; from someone who has been inside, buyer beware. read more

Chop Stix is a great restaurant. Super efficient and friendly.. The same people always answering the phones and at the register. It's both dine in and carry out. The prices are a little more than other Chinese places in the area but the quality is way better. I love their Kung Pao chicken and real fried rice.. Spicy and delicious. I don't eat in often, but don't be put off by the dark room - It gets crowded on weekends. The small size is quite a bit of food (and enough for me to share) so if you're going for a large make sure you've got a group to feed. Make sure you get some crispy noodles with your take out! If you eat in they just put them on your table anyways, but they're perfect with your rice. A great Friday night meal and Chinese food that doesn't leave you feeling gross afterward. Yum! read more

No complaints at all! We dine in on most Friday nights and carryout on some Wednesdays. The staff is all family and they always treat us like family. Our family really enjoys the food. We have eaten at this restaurant for a few years now. I have seen that the recent reviews say it isn't good now...we have honestly enjoyed the food even more than before! The sesame chicken was awesome, my husband loved his beef and broccoli, the shrimp toast was great(especially compared to the toast before) and the noodle bowl was also fantastic. This is a good place. I've been here many times, either carry out or dine in. Food is good and place is quite and relaxing. The only comments I'd make is that there is a considerable difference in size from the Lunch and Dinner servings. Lunch is small and the Dinner size is obviously bigger, more food, but you get what you pay for. Also, twice I've come during the Lunch hours and almost got charged the Dinner price, so be aware.
