They have a fabulous, varied, top quality Dim Sum menu that is all prepared in house but is only served until 5pm. The full menu is enormous! What a selection! Over 200 dishes to choose from! They do all usual favourites sweet and sour, black bean etc although I haven't tried them myself. I went for Dim Sum and Crispy Pork the first time and was astonished at the quality. The crispy pork is as good as you get on Gerard Street in London and the Cheung Fun were heavenly. In fact they are both the best I have tried outside of Chinatown and before then Hong Kong. The second time I got a take away to share with friends and again all dishes were of the highest caliber, everyone agreed. We had the Singapore Vermicelli, Poached Chicken, Salt and Chilli Squid, Pak Choi and garlic and the wonderfully named Three Roasties a selection of Roast Duck, Char Siu Pork and Crispy Pork. sigh just fantastic. This restaurant looks quite grotty outside but it has been a favourite for years. It is trying to…read morecompete with a newish 'eat as much as you like' chinese restaurant in the city centre and has changed its menu slightly of late. However I do not think it needs to worry. The food here is much better. Also I still think for the money it is a great little restaurant especially at luchtime. There is a choice of a few set menus from lunch till early evening all at a great price. If you ask for a jug of iced water they do not charge. They do serve alcohol and teas. However English tea is served with cream and is yukky. The chinese soups such as Pei Wah is lovely. It has survived since the sixties so must be pretty good. Toilet facilities are basic but clean. It is open ebery day of the week till late. It has a good central position near to the Interchange (bus station etc) and shops. Don't let the outside put you off. Only 4 stars due to the look of the place.
