Quoted £95 for the repair to 1 item which I agreed to and told them not to fix the second as I would return with my tools to fix (was a simple case of securing an earth). Once I arrived with my tools 30 mins later, they had fixed the item I told them not too and were just about to start on the second. The work took longer than expected and then I was greeted with a bill of just over £180 for the work on both items (despite telling them not to do some of the work) I put my view across to the staff member on reception (possibly manager) who was fairly rude and aggressive in his response. The work done was to a reasonable standard but I will not be returning.

They always do a good job and, in generally, they're 50% cheaper than their closest rivals! When I had new brakes fitted, I had one quote for about £300. C & C quoted closer to £150 including parts and labour. I know someone else who needed new tyres and was quoted over £200 by a dealer, she went to C & C and got just as good quality tyres fitted for less than £120. They do servicing and MOT preparation (but not actual MOTs). They will work with any make and model. And they sell and fit tyres and exhausts. They are always really nice and get the work done quickly, they don't charge too much and they always do a good job. I'd definitely recommend them.

I found I had to chase him incessantly to get him to sort out a problem which was never sorted out adequately. Make sure that anything promised is written on paper, I very nearly took him to Trading Standards due to his lack of effectiveness post-sale. I know he's trying to earn a living like all of us, it's just that the experience I had there would not make me keen to recommend him. Shame, as I say, he's not a bad bloke. Wake up, Dean.
