There is a small set of stairs that you need to climb in order to get to the reception desk. They use the patio access area at the front as an exit only option. We were warmly greeted. We asked for a seat on the patio, but it was full. They offered to seat us inside and move us to a seat on the patio as soon as a table was available. The inside ambiance is typical pub with tv's and typical pub décor. There is a long bar area. Most of the seating seemed to be high top tables and chairs. I find this very uncomfortable as my legs are short and I'm a senior. When we were seated outside after a sort wait it was lovely. The bench seats and table were good and they had umbrellas. Tables were a nice distance apart and overlooking the main street but the restaurant is set back a bit from the main road so traffic noise wasn't an issue. For dinner my husband wanted a side of pork belly bits to start. They were really tasty. We shared a bottle of wine with our dinner. I ordered the fried chicken with pork belly taters and my husband had ginger beef fried rice. The fried chicken is very similar to Korean chicken. We enjoyed our meals immensely. The servings are generous. I had the pork belly taters for the side with my meal and it was good. It was a lovely evening, with good service and good food served on a nice patio. Most enjoyable.

Chicken satay skewers Feta and beet salad…read more Poutine small side Kids grilled cheese and side Caesar salad. Annika was our server. She was super friendly and. Very attentive. She checked on us often and was very personable . I recommend requesting her. The satay skewers were kind of bland. The fries in the poutine were cold. Overall. the indoor dining was super busy, and pretty loud with everyone talking in a small space. There were lots of TVs on with no sound. Then, they turned the hockey game sound on. The General Manger came by and was extremely friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the incredible lake and Mountain Views from the dining area.

The service was welcoming at first. However, I visited just recently and had a rather awkward and peculiar customer service experience. There was a group ahead of me waiting to be seated. I was a group of one and had been waiting for several minutes to be addressed. I passed through the group to speak with the hostess to avoid any confusion that I was with them and make my presence known. Was not greeted. Was instead told in a scolding sort of tone that they were helping the other group as though I was in the wrong coming forward to speak with them. This dynamic continued throughout the whole maybe hour I was there. Literally sat waiting at my table for service for 20 mins wondering where my server was. Was a polite guest that was basically treated like an alien. Whatever happened to making the guest feel welcome? Maybe wait a bit before visiting here. Let them go through a staff change and get rid of these sociopaths they currently have representing their establishment.

It's a very clean, modern restaurant in a hotel with resort prices. That we expected. They charge for chips and salsa. That is wrong. The chips were stale and covered with Tajin, and the salsa while good, it was very small! The restaurant was run by Indians, which is fine, but the playing of Indian music in a Mexican restaurant was...weird and disconcerting. It's like the operators have never been to a Mexican restaurant.

Located inside of a hotel, the decor is old school and a bit run-down. The service was prompt but spotty at times. The servers seemed more interested in cleaning up for the next day. We started with the nachos, El toro salad and the calamari. The nachos were salty. The dipping sauce were very generic, like store bought, 2/5. El toro salad was pretty good but not a lot of beetroot, 4/5. The calamari was rubbery and too salty, 2/5. Main we got the veg fajitas. They come in a sizzling skillet. The vegetables used were clearly frozen, it had beans, zucchini, carrots, baby corn, and peas. It was spicy but also very salty. For 27 bucks quite underwhelming. Overall, not a place I wouod go back to.
