Spinach w BBQ Chicken, Avocado, and Tortilla Chips...

What a great spot for Salad! Thank God I came here after Chop Stop closed in Valencia. Then the 2 Salad Farms in Woodland Hills and Chatsworth also closed down.. So sad that healthy Salad Chains are closing everywhere.. But I just found this spot and so stoked! I'll be coming here for as long as I can and I'll make sure to tell everyone about it!! Thank you Michelle! -Romo

I finally tried Chop Stop today (3/25/25) after seeing it around for a while, and I'm glad I did! It actually reminded me of Freshii, a spot I used to enjoy before it disappeared from California. It is like the salad version of Cava and Chipotle. With so many options from Build Your Own Bowl, Chop Bowl, Chopanini, and Chopurrito, I had a tough time choosing. One of the employees recommended the Vegan Chopurrito, and I decided to go for it, but with a twist. I added salmon (so, not so vegan anymore!). It turned out to be a great choice. The warm burrito bowl was packed with flavor, featuring a base of cilantro lime rice, seasoned beans, and salsa, plus white beans, avocado, roasted corn, tomato, bell peppers, pepperoncini, and crispy wonton strips. The portion was huge and definitely sharable, but I was starving and happily finished it myself. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu soon. Bonus: parking is super easy since it's in a strip mall with plenty of free spots.

Special shoutout to Esmeralda, she was so patient and nice even though I took a while to order. It was my first time there and she explained the menu well. I went for a build your own, as did my partner. The salads were fantastic... very crispy and fresh. The portions were adequate for the prices. The establishment is kept clean, and the salad bar looks enticing. Overall, I can't wait to come back!

I came here with a friend for lunch. It's a small place but lots of options! I decided to build my own salad where you get to pick your ingredients. I was sad you could only pick 6 vegetables because I definitely wanted more. The service was fast and our salads came out very fast! They were also delicious and refreshing and all ingredients were very fresh. I was shocked to hear they didn't have a bathroom since you can sit down and eat but the next door shops do have bathrooms and allow you to use them. Parking can be tough as well but it's worth it to come here.

a colleague of mine treated me to lunch. she raved so much about chop stop and how she does not have this back home. since her journey was a long one from AZ. we decided on this. let me tell you the salad was delicious and the best of fresh ingredients. its fine chopped and easy to eat though it can be a bit tedious because you can't really fork a hearty bite lol I believe I ordered the chicken Asia salad. delicious and the dressing is so fresh! I have not visited this location so... the will have to be for my next visit.

Yummy salads! I guess there is something really satisfying about the way they cut their veggies. Only thing I'll change is the cashier lady which was all about texting on her phone when we got in, and it took her two minutes until she raised her eyes and asked how can she help us.

Totally adequate utilitarian lunch salad spot. I'm very familiar with the sweetgreen brand as I…read moreused to frequent the chain when living in NYC. The menu hasn't changed much at all in the last decade or so (whether or not that's a good thing I'm not sure). They do have a limited edition Molly Baz collab going on right now that didn't appeal to me. Usually I get one of the preset bowls with some substitutions but I got a build your own today. They were out of multiple base options including quinoa (bummer!) so I got arugula and wild rice. I added on some veg, goat cheese, and blackened chicken. I got miso ginger dressing on the side (my favorite) and asked for a slice of bread (a little annoyed it's not the default to give it). Taste and quality wise it was pretty much exactly what I've come to expect from sweetgreen: nothing groundbreaking but a solid, fresh option. I appreciated the generous portion of chicken but thought it was a little dry. This branch is clean with both indoor and outdoor seating. Bathrooms are oddly located outside but were well-kept. Would revisit for a quick lunch if in the area.

The salads when we got them home were just about inedible. The actual "greens" were OK, I guess. But: -the dressings sucked...bad tastes and so sweet. -both of us bit into chicken pieces that had the crunchy cartilage part. This is BASIC for any restaurant serving chicken... no Crunchy Cartilage Parts! -the assembly line preparation looks like it could be kind of cool and efficient if all the elements were crazy good. Like Chipotle back in the day. But this looked like what it was... children dipping their ladles into not so great-looking bins of ingredients. (The kid serving us was actually quite nice and personable.) -I went and looked at the calories, fats, carbs, etc (online)( and was not impressed. Not how I want to use up that 755 calories for a salad. I predict this place will be gone within a few months of the new Whole Foods going into this complex. I'm so bummed... I just wanted a decent place to grab a decent salad that is walking distance from my house.

For drinks, I ordered the Salted Caramel Latte and it was just fine -- nothing special. My husband got the Cookie Butter Latte, and I'd say his was definitely the better order. We also shared a tuna toast, which was a bit on the salty side. Overall, decent spot with nice staff and a clean space, but the cold temperature and so-so food/drinks make it hard to rate higher. Would maybe come back, but I'd bring a jacket next time.

Unfortunately, what happened during our visit was one of the most disgusting dining experiences I've ever had. I ordered the signature tuna sandwich, while my wife ordered the vegan bowl. We also shared a latte after receiving our food and sitting down. After getting our meals, I returned to the counter to ask for mustard. I proceeded to eat approximately half of my sandwich, using a butter knife to spread a little mustard onto each bite. At the time, the sandwich tasted fine, and I had no reason to suspect anything was wrong. When I went to spread mustard on the remaining half, I opened up the sandwich and discovered a large, dead cellar spider smooshed against the inside of the bread. Yes, an actual spider inside my sandwich. I was completely beside myself. I honestly didn't know what to say. The spider was so large and disgusting that I didn't even think to take a photo. I immediately showed my wife and brought the plate to the counter to show the staff, who also appeared shocked by what they saw. We were both absolutely disgusted. My wife immediately lost her appetite and couldn't even finish her own meal. What should have been a simple lunch together turned into an experience that completely ruined our appetite and left us wanting to leave as quickly as possible. The staff offered to remake my sandwich, which I declined. At that point, I couldn't even imagine eating anything else from the kitchen. I stepped outside to collect myself while my wife finished getting our newborn ready to leave. When I went back inside, I requested a refund and was refunded for my sandwich. I appreciated that they processed the refund, but given the circumstances, I felt the entire check should have been refunded. This wasn't a matter of disliking a dish or receiving the wrong order. I had already eaten half of a sandwich before discovering a dead spider inside the other half, and the experience was so disturbing that neither my wife nor I could enjoy the rest of our food. I understand that mistakes can happen in restaurants, but finding a dead spider inside prepared food raises serious concerns about food handling, preparation, and quality control. It's especially upsetting when you're dining with your wife and newborn and expect basic standards of cleanliness and food safety. I'm sharing this review because I genuinely hope the restaurant takes this incident seriously and investigates how something like this could happen. No customer should have to experience this, and it's certainly not something I'll forget anytime soon. This was genuinely one of the most disgusting dining experiences I've ever had. We left with our appetites ruined, feeling completely grossed out, and with very little confidence in ever returning.
