I know it turns more nightclub-like on Thursdays and Saturdays, but even on a Wednesday it felt lively and fun. The music was good and there were lots of birthday celebrations, which added to the festive atmosphere. We started with the bluefin crispy rice and the truffle sashimi from the specials menu. Both were good, but honestly I'd probably skip the raw bar next time because some of the other dishes were even better. The short rib cigar and the arais were fantastic. The real standouts were the oyster mushrooms--arguably the best mushrooms I've ever had--and the hanging tender skewer. Both were absolutely delicious and must-orders. We finished with the bread pudding, which was probably the least impressive dish of the night, but overall the meal and drinks were excellent. Huge shout-out to our waiter, Cesar, who made the experience even better. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely great at what he does. When we come back, we'll definitely be asking to sit in his section!

My Margherita was pretty good, but it did not come with any basil on it. I guess they are making it the traditional way. In Italy, Margherita is a cheese pizza. It's not the kind that we are accustomed here in the states. I would have liked there to be a little bit more sauce though. But overall, I would definitely come back here when in the area.
