Dr. Liu has been my family doctor for over three years now and I am so glad I made the choice to go to her. She makes her patients feel comfortable and she is easy to talk to. Unlike some doctors offices, she is fast and efficient. I love that each time I visit, I am in and out quickly. While Dr. Liu has a great 'bedside manner' and is respectful of her patient's time, the thing that really stands out to me is how she truly is able to correctly diagnose a myriad of problems. From missing toenails (ouch!) to hormones, she is always accurate with her treatment plan, which is much appreciated. Highly recommend. read more

Watch out patients, they are doing insurance FRAUD if you are new or not familiar with your insurance policy. They would do some useless check up on you to get the money from the insurance company. Zero star for this Dr. She is irresponsibly. After 28 hours waiting, Dr. Liu still don't have time to send my prescription to my pharmacy. HOW CARING IS THIS DOCTOR ?????? My first experience about Dr. Liu was hurry & no patience. She came in without talking to me but sent me to XRAY. After XRAY she came back said it look normal. She listened to my chest with 1 light touch and told me she was going to write me a prescription for antibiotics. Told me to come back in 2 weeks and I should have my annual check up. The total time Dr. saw me was only few minutes but most she talk was come back to see her, not a word on my illness. Of course, annual check up will give her chance to run all kind of tests on me. I asked the nurse if she can fax my prescription to my pharmacy. she double checked my pharmacy's info and said she will enter to the system. I left and went to run some errant. it was 90 minutes later when I arrived to pick up my med. But I was told nothing send in for me. I called the Dr. office and I was told Dr. was very busy. OK I wait & wait for another hour still no word from Dr. I was very upset. I got home without any medicine. I was sick & cough all night. I call my pharmacy this morning and still nothing for me. Call back Dr. office and was told Dr. was very busy. That gave me an impression how much the Dr. care for her patients. I can understand that she has many patients to see but after office hour should she take a minute to send in sick patient's prescription? Maria is very rude, cuts people off, witnessed it and experienced it myself, no care, no concern, no compassion. No help. Rude to her trainee, rude to patients. Has no patience. AVOID this doctor if you don't want to deal with billing issue! The doctor may seem to be nice but the staffs there messed up my copay amount, billing codes etc. This is any patient's worst nightmare! I was given an email address that their staff later claimed "no one really check that email" when I called and tried to clarify the billing issues with the doctor office. They always respond by saying 'need to check with doctor', promise you to get things straightened out but turns out nothing have updated. I made hours of calls with LabCorp, my insurance company and this doctor office, and at the end I had no choice but give up since I do not want to spend another hours to argue with them and risking the bill going to collection company! read more

Dr. Chung Liu got me in super fast by the next week. I went in for a physical. All the nurses and everyone helping me at the counter was vary pleasant. The gentleman that was drawing my blood did not hurt me at all, I barely felt it. I love Dr. Liu and her team. I've been a patient for around 4 years and don't plan to ever leave... and apparently the staff feel the same bc the turn over is next to nil which makes the experience more comforting I a way. Dr. Liu is brilliant and actually cares about you, like game planning with you on how to best support you to reach your health goals, whatever that is. My family has been coming here for 10 years because of same day appointments and they also have massages therapy and acupuncture. The staff is good especially Maria. Nobody is perfect but Dr Liu cares. read more

Zero star if I could. Made an appointment to see Dr. Chong Liu because she was only one that available for the same day appointment. It turned out to be her assistant, I would prefer to know ahead of time if the person that I would be seeing and paying is her assistant. Plus, is her assistant even licensed NP? Dr Liu's office is always helpful and very easy to make appointments. She's been my primary physician for few months and by far she's been the best practitioner I've visited since my family moved to Frisco. I've had back and shoulder issues since my accident back in October and I've done some acupuncture along with pain mgt and it's been going really well. If you are looking for a doctor that will listen to your concerns, and give you a detail explanation on your questions, then Dr Liu is not the one for you. The staffs are not very nice as well. I wish I could give no stars. This was the WORST doctors appt I've ever had, with Dr. Liu. I was asked to be 30 min early but when's a i got there at 8am, the door was locked because they didn't open til 8:30. Then, I get my bloodwork done, the whole staff is very quiet and unfriendly to me. Finally, it's time to see the doctor: she comes in and barely talks to me, talks me out of getting a pap smear (saying that I could just do it some other time, I don't have to do it now... as many times as it took for me to agree not to do it today). So, after 3 minutes, she's ready to walk out and I start to tell her that I've been having some serious stomach issues. She doesn't ask any further questions, or ask me to lay on the table to check me. She just immediately starts to prescribe me medicine. She didn't even tell me how to take the medicine. So this confuses me, so I ask her why we jumped straight to medication when I hadn't finished telling her what all has been going on... she ends up arguing with me about how I can get a sonogram of my gall bladder and and endoscopy but my insurance won't cover it so it will be expensive. This is also where she decides to tell me that my insurance only includes cholesterol in the blood test. So I tell her, I will pay extra, I need my iron and B12 checked because I am vegan and it's important to check them. GUESS WHAT? When the nurse just called me, they checked loads of other stuff that I have to pay extra for but NOT the iron or the B12. Are you serious? I'm not done yet though, so.. the doctor walks me back out to the lobby to pay for a certain test that they could check in office immediately. And she walks away. We had never even finished talking or had explained the medication she provided... I asked the front office, "is my appointment over?", "yes, just wait for the results in the lobby" they said. After 5 minutes, the came to announce to the whole lobby that my results were negative.. cool. Good news or bad news, it's MY news; not the stranger beside me. So I go out to my car, call my sister crying because that was literally the worst experience I had ever had and My stomach was still in so much pain, AND THEY CALL ME BACK IN. They call to tell me that the doctor wanted to prescribe something else. Luckily, my sister is an experienced nurse, so she was able to tell me what medicine would help vs what Dr. Liu prescribed. When I walked back in, the office acted clueless as to why I was back and told me they'd "call me once my referral was ready"... Then another lady came around the corner asking me to follow her back to a doctors office. Doc came in and wrote down an over the counter probiotic that I could take... she had me come back in and wait another 10 min for that.. when she saw the medicine that I had written down (from what my sister told me), she snatched it from my hand and said, that's fine. We can go with that medicine, without even asking me why I had written it down or anything. My sister, still quietly on speaker, spoke up to explain why she had thought that would help a little more in my situation (given that my sis actually cared enough to ask questions), The doctor cut her off and said, "it's all personal opinion, the medication I prescribed is more popular with insurance companies. Less expensive" SHE PRESCRIBED ME SOMETHING THAT WAS "more popular" INSTEAD OF THE MEDICINE THAT MAY WORK BETTER. THIS DOCTOR DOES NOT CARE ABOUT NEW PATIENTS. She wants to get you in and out as fast as possible. I NEVER leave bad comments like this but this experience was BY FAR the worst. read more

This is the worst office I've ever had to deal with. My mom is a patient and she asked me to help her get a couple of referrals, because she had been waiting for them for over a month, and they wouldn't send them!! The staff here is rude and doesn't seem to know what they are doing. They ended up sending partial information to the specialist and when we called the specialist, they said they only received a fax with my mom's name and phone number, not even the reason for the referral. Then they referred my mom to a doctor that wasn't even in her insurance network. We ended up having to ask the doctor to mail out the referral to our house, so my mom could see the specialist. When I spoke with the doctor to explain our frustration, she kept placing me on hold for over 20 minutes at a time, and when she would answer again, she would just repeat what we already knew. She is so rude and doesn't even let you talk, and she even hung up on me while I was talking. They will take your copay and your insurance's money, and they won't do their job. They don't care if you need medical attention, or if you don't feel well. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Cross posted on Google, I don't want anyone else to get screwed by them. read more

I never got so bad service in my doctor visited. The appointment was fully useless because they did not follow it. I took more than 3 hours waiting for medical examinations with appointment, and no one said sorry for me, after I asked why the assistant of doctor( a youth men in the front desk) explained me the examinations took more times for the previous visitors. If this office always do the overtime examinations for someone, why need me to setup the appointment. This office is fully not care about everyone or unfair for every visitor! read more

Coming from out-of-state I went to several doctors before finding one that I like. I chose Dr. Chong because she was recommended by a family member. Her office is in a nice area, it's is clean and professional, fairly easy to get an appointment and she is pleasant. I also like that the office is open on Saturdays. I subtracted one start for the office staff. When ever I have called (2x in 4 months) they rush to just get me off the phone... I have been told on both occasions that I would get a call back, that never happened. Calling almost feels pointless. I kept this doctor when I switched insurance carriers because that is what matters most, the actual doctor. read more

Totally a fraud! I went to see Dr. Liu on 12.12.2017, she arranged me to do a CT test on a Plano imagine studio which she cooperated. She said it won't cost over than $200 after insurance. But when I got to the studio, they didn't ask me anything, they just said Dr. Liu arranged everything for me, Then they did me a MRI test!!! remember I was told to do a CT test, those are totally two different thing. But I don't know anything during the process. At last, the staff here told me the test cost me almost $800!!!! Not finished, the staff said Dr. Liu will contact me by next 24hours with the test result, but now is 2.7.2018, I called her office many many times, she just called me back said everything is fine. It's terrible to image that if I have some problems, I would miss the best treatment time!!! When she called me back, her attitude is terrible too!!! I did my medical exams for immigration 2 and a half weeks ago. Did TB X-Ray about 9 days ago. Was supposed to receive results 6 days ago. Now the doctor is on vacation and the assistants that take care of my results aren't even coming to the office to make sure I get the results. My interview with USCIS is next week. I REGRET the decision to go with Dr Liu. I would've got the results earlier if I went with another doctor even a week later. read more

I see review from another site that the doctor always take the deductible up front. Then you will have issue to get the deductible money back if the doctor don't claim all of them to the insurance. That person claims that it takes her 3 months to get the money back. It happens to me. It already a month. I am still back and forward talking to the office. Will see how long it will take for me to get my money back. read more

The office seems to just care about how much they can charge you're insurance and if you don't have insurance be prepared for 160 per visit! I've had a horrible experience the doctor is not friendly! She's very rude and doesn't care about her patients. I'm very glad to have finally changed my primary Doctor. The office is horrible with giving you a call back or following up on blood work.
