Do smash burgers re-invent the wheel when it comes to burgers? Not really. While they are good in their own right. They are just a greasy, crispy burger packed with flavor. With that said Wanna Smash checks off all smash burgers qualities. Tasty and crispy. They do be hitting the marks well. Do they bring anything new? No not really. Their Yum Yum sauce is great. I think being a little sweeter than others makes it unique. Its a has a smokey / paprika flavor. Pairs well. I got the fries and Hot n Heavy added another patty. Jalapenos were not grilled but I would have been great if they were. Tasty burger. On point. And local to me. Now I do not need to venture out to any of the other smash spots. Burger + Fries are $15.
