First time at Tortas Chuy Jr and wow... it did not disappoint. I ordered La Chilanga with milanesa de carne and chose the red sauce for the chilaquiles -- zero regrets, it was . The torta is HUGE, definitely shareable... unless you're feeling a little greedy (no judgment, I kept it to myself ). Everything was packed with flavor and totally hit the spot. My brother came home and surprised us with tortas from this place. He handed me the one labeled "La Toxica" (I won't take it personally, lol). It looked like it was a chicken milanesa torta with cheese, lettuce, and tomato. It was a pretty big torta, my mother and I ended up sharing it and were perfectly satisfied. My brother claims that this is his favorite option from Tortas Chuy Jr. Milanesa is not my favorite so I think I would go with a different option next time but it was still pretty good. I wish it came with a salsa or an aioli or something to top the torta. I would've also appreciated more lettuce.
