I am so glad that I put my two year old Aussie in training with BlackPaw. Before training, walking my pup was stressful. He was pulling on me so badly that it made walks stressful. Now, his heel and sit stay make walks so enjoyable! Thank you for helping Oslo and I. Life is just a little more enjoyable now after his board and train!

So, we just stopped taking her. And, after a very bad reaction to a dog on our walk, where she redirected on me, I would get scared any time we saw a dog when we were out walking and did my best to just avoid dogs altogether. We finally decided we couldn't fix Stella on our own and we decided to take her to Black Paw Dog Training. The training we ALL received has changed our lives! Since her graduation, we have enjoyed Saturday pack walks with other graduates and Stella has done great, walking side by side with other dogs, passing dogs out on the trail and staying in a perfect heel. I never thought it could be possible. She plays ball in a neighborhood park and has perfect recall. And our walks and ball playing in the neighborhood are totally different. She can pass dogs on the trail and just walk on by without losing her mind. And taking her with us to stores is now a fun outing. No more whining. No more pulling. Just a well-behaved pup. Bernadette and Cecilia have opened up a whole new world for us that we never thought was possible. We cannot thank Black Paw Dog Training or recommend them highly enough.

She was a rehome situation and had been trained to use a liter box in her crate. Meghan from Training Wheels helped me train Lemon to go outside and to LOVE her crate as a safe place and not soil it. Additionally, she helped me train Lemon to be totally focused on me, even with distractions. She sits when asked, she looks to me for approval and consent, and comes when called, no matter what. She is the goodest girl now - not that she wasn't before - she is just so much better now. All of this training was done with a lot of knowledge and a lot of love from Training Wheels. I also use Training Wheels for boarding Lemon. She gets so much positive attention and interaction. I was a bit hesitant at first because there are a lot of big dogs, but the times that I have boarded her, there have been dogs her size to play with and the bigger dogs play in a different area. For sleeping, she gets her own area (with door) with plenty of space for her bed and toys and then an area for going potty, should she need to in the night (Italian Greyhounds have hamster bladders, haha). The building where she sleeps and takes naps is temperature controlled and she is surrounded by other dogs in their areas, so is never alone. There are multiple outside play areas - and they designate which areas are for which size dog, and the dogs are always supervised. Training Wheels staff are always with the dogs and interacting with the dogs. They send pics of my happy dog playing outside and running and having just the best time. I feel that my tiny dog Lemon is very safe and happy there. I can't recommend Training Wheels enough for both training and boarding. Lemon is SO well taken care of and loved.

Training Wheels has slowly introduced him to being comfortable and having fun in a small group of dogs. Their skilled trainers have been amazing at showing him all of the positive praise while he is learning. Training Wheels gave both Oscar and I the confidence to try without fear knowing we had the tools to make it fun and how to realize if it was not. Yay for Oscar and yay for the team at Training Wheels!

Now at 9 months old, after 6 lessons and weeks of practice, practice, practice, he is a different dog. I never thought there could be such a difference in a dog in such a short time. Jesse was afraid of so much. He had to learn how to go up and down stairs and be comfortable riding in a car. Every noise on a walk startled him -- birds, cars, loud noises, other dogs, people, everything. Walking with him was a horrible experience. He pulled and sniffed constantly, lunged at people and other dogs. Nothing I did was helping because I had no idea of what to do. He wasn't much better in the house. He had no boundaries. He would not stay in one place for any length of time. He couldn't be in the backyard because he constantly ate the mulch and chewed holes in the grass. Thank goodness I found Jack! All of that has changed - in 3 months! Because of what Jack has taught me, I now am able to successfully communicate with my dog and help him gain the confidence he needs to be his best self. His energy has mellowed since he no longer has the need to take control of everyone and everything. His walks are enjoyable - even off leash. Yes, Jesse can be off leash and we hike the trails in Boulder. He comes when called and he will walk beside me with no leash if I ask him to. It's really unbelievable. There are so many things I could tell you about my amazing dog and what he can do. But you can experience it yourself if any of this sounds familiar. If you are willing to put in the time to work with you dog and do what Jack or Alex tells you, I have every reason to believe you will have great results. My daughter worked with Alex and followed her advice. She was certain her dog would never stop chasing rabbits and squirrels or be trusted off leash as well as numerous other problems. After 3 months, she too has had amazing results and now a well-behaved dog. We hike together -- with our dogs off leash. I continue to use the foundation, techniques, and education Jack provided as I continue training with Jesse. There is always room for improvement and new things for both of us to learn. I really could not have managed Jesse without Jack's help. I will always be grateful.

So Baci was an indulged as a new puppy who arrived at our home just when our new granddaughter did in a remote city. But once we moved to the Front Range area to be closer to our growing family, Baci needed some training. Isaac was just amazing. Calm, quiet, and easygoing. No reprimands from this guy, just relationship building, establishing trust and clear communication, and persistence. Our dog went from a highly reactive and headstrong little girl to walking on a heal with a loose leash, being able to sit on command, staying out of a designated area, and more. All in just one session. The best part is that her fun and high spirits remain fully intact. This dog is still happy, fun, and loving. Thanks, Isaac. Highly recommend!

Three days into having him and he dragged me down a hill to get to another dog. I love him, but he's an absolute psycho. I called a bunch of trainers to see if someone could help with his dog reactivity. They all flat out refused because of his age and size to train him around other dogs which is what Sheldon needed. After the first two sessions with Isaac where he shared invaluable tips, he allowed us to practice around his dog Finn (the most placid dog). Isaac was patient, calm, and supportive of our journey with Sheldon. He'd even offer guidance if I had a question about the training post-session. We're now almost a year into having Sheldon and I can comfortably walk him around other dogs with some of the cues and tips that Isaac taught me. I can take him to the park and I can have him on a long line. Today we walked passed two off leash dogs playing fetch! I'm truly grateful to Isaac for making our lives and Sheldon's life a lot less stressful.

She did a great job not only training Nash and Parker, but also teaching us how to maintain and build on what they learned once they came home. The follow‑up sessions were incredibly helpful and showed how much she cares about long‑term results, not just quick fixes. We saw noticeable improvements in behavior, responsiveness, and overall confidence in both dogs. It's clear Quinn is passionate about what she does, and we felt comfortable knowing our dogs were in great hands. She brings such a calm, knowledgeable, and thoughtful approach to training, and it's clear how much she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. We saw real progress with our dog, Kendrick, in a relatively short amount of time. What truly set this experience apart, though, was how Quinn handled a scary and unexpected situation. During Kendrick's initial board-and-train, he had a seizure. Quinn stepped in immediately, took great care of him, and kept us informed while we rushed home. Knowing he was with someone so attentive and compassionate made an incredibly stressful moment much easier. On top of that, Pavlov honored the remaining portion of his training, and Quinn welcomed him back once he was ready to complete the program. That level of flexibility and integrity speaks volumes. We're so grateful for Quinn -- not just for the training, but for the trust and care she showed when it mattered most. Highly recommend.

Jennifer came highly recommended by a couple of other dog walkers in the area and we couldn't be happier with the time, love, and security she provided Millie. Initially, Jennifer spent over an hour speaking with us about Millie's routine and preferences. We voiced our concerns with Millie being around other dogs and being scared to go out if it is raining or storming. Jennifer gave updates everyday about interactions with other dogs, whether they were good or bad. She also planned Millie's walk times around storms, if at all possible. Millie even got into the habit of jumping in the bathtub when it was storming and knocking everything down. Jennifer didn't even think twice when I asked her to remove my razor from the side of the bathtub so that Millie would not cut herself. She was amazing! Jennifer also gave us a lot of tips and contact information for a behaviorist when we became more and more concerned with her aggressive behavior. We always loved getting the text messages from Jennifer after their adventures in Chicago. Millie may become a star one day after going to the set of Chicago Fire, introducing herself to a Chicago Blackhawks player, and joining a pole dancing class at Flirty Girl Fitness. To sum it up, anyone would be incredibly lucky to be able to introduce Jennifer into their pet's life (not to mention their own). I wish we weren't moving out of state (or maybe that we could bring Jennifer with us)! Millie will greatly miss her.

The few times I was home but still had Jen walk Bacon, the way he lit up when she came in was just the best. I swear when we'd get to talking he'd be like "wrap it up guys, this is my time with Jen." She is the best and highly recommended! FYI - pictures uploaded are taken by Jen/her walkers.
