We could not be more thankful for the team at K9-revolution! We feel like we have a new dog. My grand dog came back and acts exactly as he did before even when my daughter is diligent with his training. John et al stated they would get a handicapped walker and teach him along with it, as I am severely disabled. They didn't. Shilo nearly knocks me over everyday. I am 81 and crippled. I can't barely walk down the hallway as it is. I can't have guests because he jumps on everyone if Dana is not here and he barks non-stop. I deserve my money back. It was a complete waste. I truly could not be happier with our choice to send our furry friend here for the intensive 2 week training. Our 90 lb pittie mix left an anxious , hyper, disobedient boy and came back with perfect manners and way more chill. This one is LONG overdue on my part. Jonathon and his crew took such good care for Athena during her board and train. Athena, a German Shepherd, was reactive and aggressive whenever I was being approached. I didn't want that anymore so I had the pleasure of Athena doing a board and train with K9 Revolution. The opportunity I saw was that every Saturday, dogs that have been through their program is free for the lifetime of the dog. It is really up to the owner to keep the training up. I had just gotten a puppy for my birthday, little Cove. We already had Chloe, an 8 year old dog at home. Within a week of having Cove, I realized I needed help. I went online and searched high and low. I was in contact with multiple trainers, but Angela from K9 Revolution really stuck out. The initial phone call we had, she was so thorough, it was a 45 minute call! She answered so many questions and told us all about the program. We then had a second call that included Jon and it was nice to hear more info. We didn't know if we were ready to pull the trigger on sending two dogs to a board and train for 2-3 weeks, cost wise and emotionally. My girlfriend and I were convinced that if we sent little Cove only, she would come back and then Chloe would make her regress in her training. So ultimately we sent both. We went to tour the facility and the same day we dropped our girls off. While they were gone we got SO many videos and text updates. It was great seeing the progress and any point if we had a question they got back to us pretty quick. We got our dogs back and immediately stopped at petsmart to pick up kennels. We were very hesitant to do so, just because we've never done it and frankly didn't believe in it. However, we took the girls to petsmart and immediately saw a shift. Chloe used to be so reactive and she was able to walk right in between dogs and not care at all. We got our kennels, and we're now two weeks in and it's a game changer. We use it religiously and it's created great boundaries and regulation for the girls. Cove is just a puppy, so they worked on creating a base level for training and she came back to us so eager to keep pleasing and following those rules. And Chloe came back a different dog in the best ways. Not reactive, listening, and able to regulate. I'm SO glad we ended up doing it. And we plan on sticking with training our dogs for life. Here is my loving, obedient dog Mia, whose moto is "you leave me alone and I'll leave you alone".....however, what she lacked was social skills with other people and dogs. After several different trainers and training facilities, including 2 weeks at the local prison, things did not evolve how I expected.She was still very protective of me and very reactive to others if they got close. I was using, as I was later told bandaids (masks) as a precaution.So I found yet another trainer, and my final try.. Jonathan and K-9 Revolution. And so it began..... I highly recommend Jonathan and his lifetime K-9 Revolution dog training facility! Their positive and patient approach transformed my dog's behavior, and they were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. Jonathan is truly an amazing dog trainer. Jonathan and his trainers are positive and patient and use positive reinforcement techniques, which fostered a strong bond of trust and respect between my dog and me. They were always patient and understanding, even when my dog was struggling. They are knowledgeable and experienced. They have a deep understanding of canine behavior and training methods. They were able to quickly identify the root causes of my dog's issues and develop a tailored training plan that worked. Mia was at the facility for 3 weeks after which Jonathan and Ashley made a home visit to help me with modifying Mia's surroundings as needed, as well as entering "her home." They are results-oriented and Mia made significant progress with Jonathan's help. They were able to address specific behavioral issues and help my dog develop into a more well-behaved and happy companion. Jonathan and his crew are professional, punctual, and reliable. They always followed through on their commitments and made the training process smooth and stress-free. They also use a 3-3-3 rule for dog trainining--It suggests that the first three days should be used for adjusting to their new surroundings, the next three weeks for training and bonding, and the first three months for continued socialization and training. His training protocol is, for the most part, very exacting and needs to be followed for continued success with your dog's behaviors. We now go regularly to his 2 hour Saturday socialization and training sessions to continue to modify and shape Mia's behavior. Before training, our 2 yo Cavalier King Charles spaniel, Archie, barked at EVERYTHING. He would bark uncontrollably at anyone who would approach him or me and any chance he would get, he'd run off and would just think it was a game when we'd try to get him to come back to us. We love to camp and On previous camp trips we would have to leave him locked in the camper constantly due to his bad behavior and manners. We just had our first camp trip with Archie since he completed his 4 week training. Roughly 68 people and 10 dogs of various sizes and breeds. Archie did absolutely amazing. Everyone we had previously camped with, continuously complimented how impressed they were with his transition. He didn't bark unnecessarily , he was able to be off leash at the campsite and wouldn't run off, and he got along with all the other dogs. K9 Revolutions owners Jonathan and Michelle have saved our family. My wife and I have a five year-old Australian Kelpie and a 6 month old puppy American Bulldog mix. Our older dog had been attacked several times by very large dogs at the dog park. As a result she started to become very protective over my wife and I. When we introduced an 11week old puppy to the household she was not happy and started to have more aggressive possessive tendencies. Training the puppy became extremely difficult while trying to keep them from fighting with each other. There were many unwanted behaviors that both dogs developed and they became unruly and created situations that felt extremely unsafe for the dogs or us. This culminated in a horrific fight between them late one night. Luckily neither dog was bit or required any medical attention, but if my wife and I didn't intervene I'm not sure both dogs would have made it out without injury or or worse. My wife spent the rest of the night researching the best trainers around to help us. It was right before the holidays early on a Sunday and Jonathan and Michelle not only answered, they let us bring our dogs down the same day to start training!! They were full too and out of the kindness of their hearts and the desperation of our situation, they took our fur babies in for training. We dropped them 2 weeks to work on the issue between the two dogs. Jonathan and Michelle would regularly send us videos of the progress our fur babies were making I was so impressed that with the progress each time. They had made vast improvement by day 2. K-9 Revolution trained each dog separately and together to build their independent confidence and to understand they are part of the same pack. When we went to pick them up we were amazed. Both Michelle and Jonathan met with us and worked with us to continue the new training they had learned. We were so impressed because not only did they work on aggressive behavior training, the little one had puppy training, the older one had post trauma work, they broke bad behaviors, leash behavior, play behaviors, and so much more. We were so impressed!!!!! We were AMAZED!!!! Who were these dogs? They were under excellent voice control and followed all of these new commands. The real test would be when we got home. When we did, it took a day or two for us and the dogs to adjust to the new rules and verbage, but with the use the new training we all received things have become so PEACEFUL and WONDERFUL. Our dogs are now under voice control, follow the rules (the puppy is still a puppy, but she knows the rules, she just is playful sometimes). Both dogs are happy because there are clear expectations, common body language and common spoken commands. We couldn't have asked for more. However, there is more to come. As part of the training Jonathan and Michelle will be coming to our house to ensure things are going well and to provide any tips and support that may be needed. What a helpful and thoughtful wraparound service to ensure that the new behaviors transferred to home environment. They also host groups on Saturdays. The best part, they are your partners in training for the duration of your dog's life. What an amazing service. Who could ask for more. We can't!!! If I could give them 10 stars I would!!!!
