Where do I start? Brian came & took over half of the total amount as a deposit in September for a complete house of windows, front door, rear stable door & large french door & windows fitment with a start date of 30th october to last a week. When the windows arrived there were 3 incorrect sizes, no glass for my Son's bedroom window (which wasn't bought to light until after the window was fitted) 2 lots of privacy glass missing and no front & rear doors. Despite numerous calls, texts & emails to Brian the work remains unfinished. He blames everyone else for the probems & does not take responsibility. He has done NOTHING to remedy any of the issues instead comes up with lies & excuses. We eventually had to call out a glass installer ourselves & pay for the glass in my Sons room as the window was open to the elements - they had only put a piece of board up which was a good few inches too small either side which offered no protection to the elements at all. It has become clear that he NEVER had any intention of providing the doors as not once did he measure for them. We have had nothing but excuses after excuses and lies after lies whenever we have been able to contact him. - which has been very rarely as he refuses to answer calls. He's arranged appointments for the fitters to come & continue the work which I've taken days off work for but no one has shown & not once has he rang to cancel any of them or rang to explain why they haven't shown up, it's always been me that has had to chase him which isn't easy when he won't answer or return calls.We are left with a half finished job & a house that looks a mess. What should have been straight forward home improvements has turned into a nightmare. Ordered replacement windows for the whole house. Choices wanted to fit Windows weekend before Christmas but didn't come until Monday 21st Dec leading to job being rushed through to finish before they broke up. two teams of fitters came, one team were very good, the other team were instructed to replace the 2 bay windows on the front of the house and made a terrible job, including broken tiles between the upstairs and downstairs bays where they dropped one of the new window sections. After xmas the one bay was repaired which took seven hours to put right. Six weeks later the tiles were eventually repaired. We have been waiting 8 weeks and they have failed to turn up on 7 promised visits, for the other front bay to still be smartened up. Handles on the front bays do not match and they have failed to replace, resulting in my husband buying and replacing himself separately. No one in charge has even been to see what needs doing even after photos of the mess that was left. Have requested several times for Nathan Beddows to get in touch and even sent him a letter, still nothing! Customer service is non existent! In hindsight we should not have payed in full, then maybe the job would have been completed to our satisfaction? Cannot see how a 10 year guarantee will work when they can't even come weeks after doing job. Would not recommend to anyone. read more

In 2012 I decided I wanted a conservatory and rang 3 companies for quotes and advice. Over the following week I met 2 abrupt and hard pressure salesmen from other companies and Nathan Beddows from Choices. Right from the start Nathan made me feel at ease, he did not offer a "sign tonight to get this price" in fact Nathan informed me that the price he gave would stand for 6 months. Nathan explained everything to me in terms I could understand and he also ensured I really did understand by asking me questions ! As promised Nathan produced a drawing on the laptop for me to see how the conservatory would look, he was polite, courteous, funny and very helpful. I gained an insight into Nathan during the visit and could see he was passionate about his company and had worked hard to build the reputation he assured me Choices had. Choices was not the cheapest quote I had but I had been put to ease so much that I decided to use them and I am so glad I did. Everything was planned to the very last detail, every professional arrived on time, did an excellent job, cleaned up so well I never wanted them to leave, made me feel safe with them around my home and safe enough to feel able to go out and leave them working. A site engineer popped around several times to ensure all was well and Nathan called me every couple of days to ensure I was happy with the progress, The quality of the materials and workmanship was excellent, so good in fact that a couple of months later I contacted Nathan again to provide a conservatory for my daughter which was done with the same results. Following this my Son had a conservatory and all windows and doors replaced in his house. My Son and Daughter said the same about the workmen and remarking on how they cleaned up every bit of mess and nothing was too much trouble even when my Daughter in Law decided she wanted the conservatory doors opening the opposite way to how they had asked for them to be fitted. I asked Nathan and within 2 days this was done! Nathan constantly checked that everyone was happy and last year I contacted him again to build a porch for me. Nathan came around and it was like meeting up with an old friend, the kettle went on, we put the world to rights before we settled down to discuss what I would like. The porch was no mean feat as I had no wall for it to be based on a lounge window was removed, a smaller one fitted to allow an extra wall to be built, Nathan introduced me to new designs for front doors and everyone comments on the one I chose, its lovely and exceptionally safe ! Nathan made a suggestion about a porthole window which I had not thought of but agreed as I knew I could trust him, it looks great. I had mentioned that I was thinking of removing a couple of interior walls, removing an old boiler and pipes in the kitchen and fitting a new floor which would make the kitchen twice the original size, Nathan suggested having it done at the same time as the porch which I agreed to do and a lovely job was made at a fraction of the price it would have cost me to have this done by someone else later on.
