It took 5 calls over 2 weeks before NEO finally accepted liability and sent out a repair team. Less than 3 months later a second locking system has failed in the open position. I cannot close the window securely rendering my home contents insurance null and void. Have called NEO 3 times but each time the become more rude and abrasive suggesting it's not their problem! They have refused to acknowledge my e-mails until I chase them up with more phone calls; they have refused to commit to a repair timescale - actually saying 'I'm not going to commit to a timescale as you will hold me to it' Yes - seriously!!! When I asked for a part number to order a part in myself - they had no idea as they clearly have ignored the detailed information and photographs I have given them. 'If we have to order a part in we will' - so clearly they haven't even checked. Appalling after-sales service; noting that I had 2 neighbours use them on my recommendation and they haven't so much as acknowledged that and clearly are only interested in new business. Do not give them a penny. Appalling.

So I have no idea how much the windows cost or how helpful they were during any process that isn't just the fitting and measuring. Initial communication between us and Window Warehouse was slow; which is actually not their fault. I were sent a letter addressed to the flat not to me personally so I assumed it was junk mail and didn't read it. Two months later, I got a phone from our landlord asking me to call Window Warehouse. We arranged a time for them to come out and do the measurements and they were in and out fairly quick, this would have been around the end of September. They told us that the were aiming to get the windows replaced in about a month. The end of October rolls around and we get a call to arrange an appointment to fit them. Two men came at 8am and were done by 2pm leaving behind nice new windows. Jord and Paul who fitted the windows were friendly and helpful, talking us through what they were doing. The weather was awful and at one point it was raining in my living room but they kindly put down plastic sheeting to protect my carpet. Overall a good experience with Window Warehouse and I love my new windows!

Now I'm not one to stereotype but woman aren't usually the best at DIY, in fact I'm clueless and not once were any of the men helpful! Instead I just got a casual greeting. I found that they provide a measuring service but not delivery, which is a shame!

They were local and I phoned around and they seemed quite reasonable in price compared to their competitors. They have the expertise I needed. Their knowledge seemed extensive. The tree turned out to be no hazard to the building, but he did a great job pruning the branches and we had a good old chat about the environment whilst he worked. Jump ahead to right now, I finally managed to get my own affairs in order so that Sofafix could do what they do best and fix my sofa! From the very start, Steve was punctual and precise in his dealings with me. My sofas were taken in a state that could be best described as "ready for the tip". Steve and his colleague Jane moved everything for me and even helped with advice on what would work best when giving our sofas a new lease of life. Our entire suite (which seats up to 10 people) was recovered and rejuvenated in no time at all. The quality of Steve and Jane's work is simply the best. Our suite was returned to us looking as good as new. When I considered what they looked like before going to Steve, the finished result was nothing short of a miracle. It isn't just ourselves who have been impressed with Sofafix, we have had visitors who have complimented on our "new" sofas such is the quality of the work which has been done. I am very, very pleased with Sofafix, Steve and Jane. Together, they changed our sofa suite from an embarrassment into something we can once again be proud of. I would strongly recommend Sofafix for any as well as all of your upholstery needs.
