I bought a Maytag PetPro stackable washer & dryer set from Lowes.com on Dec 16 2024. I paid for the delivery and "installation kit". When the installers arrived, what I ordered did not include the "stacking kit" so they left them in my living room. In all I had spent $2,230 so far and I ended up paying $60 more for a bag with two brackets and four screws, nothing special about them. I could not install the units until a few days later when I had help available. When they were finally installed and I used them for a few days, I noticed that the washer would leak from the door and the dryer would shut off randomly in the middle of its cycles, saying "Cycle Complete" but the clothes would still be wet. When I reached out to Lowe's customer service, they informed me that their return policy was only 48 hours unless I used the Lowe's credit card, then it was 7 days. They insisted on sending Maytag to repair (or replace) the units and declined a refund. When I persisted, they continued to shift responsibility to Maytag since it was "now under their warranty", and the refund was a "decision that Maytag would make". I provided all the information that Lowe's asked me for. At every step, I declined replacement and repairs and requested a pickup and refund instead. Inexplicably, Lowe's then sent a repair technician to my home anyway. I was given no notice of their arrival and they were turned away. Several more weeks went by with no communication from Lowe's, Maytag, or a repair company until I reached out to Lowe's with a final request for refund. Yet again, the support team deflected responsibility to Maytag and we got nowhere fast, so I am still stuck with two grand worth of appliances that the store won't take back.

My 8 year old refrigerator was icing up and there was a "factory update" involving a new fan and many related parts. They also diagnosed the problem with my Sub-Zero Beverage Center, ordered parts, removed it and took it back to their shop for repairs. It will take about a week for repairs and re-install. The Technicians arrived on time, worked efficiently, fixed my built-in refrigerator, cleaned up and left - what more can you ask for?

They sent a company out, we paid the $70 service call fee and they paid them 1200.00 (not) to fix the Fridge, they were there and gone in 45 min. We called Prestigious Appliance to come out,....long story short. He replaced the very parts the noodle heads before him said they had replaced, all original parts, still in tact.He had to remove all the shelves, drawers etc...to remove inside back panel, to get to some of the parts....which I never saw the man before do. So, that right there told me, the other guy ripped off the Warranty Co. Now, WE did end up paying $1200.00 out of pocket....but we had some expensive parts replaced, one of which was a compressor.....But, add it up here. .....the fridge stops working and unless you can get someone to your house within the hour to repair it, you're either going to lose the groceries inside, or transfer them to the refrigerator in the garage. Either way it's a big hassle. Then wait 2 weeks for them to come and not repair it. We then have to do this a second time....transport groceries to the garage..go back and forth to the garage whenever you need something out of the refrigerator, the freezer isn't large enough so you end up losing some groceries. So, there's waste of money as well. I don't know about you, but I'd rather spend the money to have it repaired, correctly the first time, than to go through all of that. It is not like you're having to do without a microwave. And spending 1200.00 isn't the same as the $12,000.00 for the Fridge. So, don't go through the aggravation we did for a month before we took control from the warranty company. Simply call Prestigious Appliance to begin with. They are the most knowledgeable guys you'll meet.

    Never ever under any condition buy anything from this business. If your machine works perfectly, it…read morewill be great, but if you get a lemon like we did just get ready because they will do nothing about it. They will tell you that it works fine even if it doesn't do the one and only thing it's supposed to. Like for a washing machine, wash clothes. Our clothes come out with dirt you can scrape off with a fingernail after being washed. swim suits smell like chlorine after being washed. I accidentally washed a folded shirt after vacation and it came out still folded. We've had doctor appointments for skin rashes from the fact that it does not get detergent out of clothes. We followed instructions from the business and the manufacturer on 1 million different cycles to try to see if they work and none of them do. This machine is under warranty, but no one will do anything about it. If you get a lemon, just know you will be out thousands of dollars. Go to Bob Wallace in Huntsville because my friend had the same issues and they replaced hers. Eva appliance left us to deal with a mess.

Delivery was prompt and attention was given to the details. The machine was carefully set up and then tested to insure the water level was right and that it drained properly. Any needed adjustments were then made. Eva Appliance Center was not only a pleasure to do business with but they also had the best prices. :)
