Went in for the first time to get wet food for my dog. On their website it showed they had a wide variety of brands of cans. My dog is extremely picky and has allergies, so I was super excited to find more options for him. When I got there I only found 2 of the ones that I saw online. When online there was about 10 different ones that I saw he would eat. I was also excited to see zignature online, but could only find one flavor of cans in the store, not the one I saw online. If you go on the website it does say if things are sold out but none of the items I was looking for said that. Needless to say I was disappointed because I only found a few cans he could eat. I did buy some treats & toys, but not what I originally went in for and really needed. Either update the website more often, or have the shelves stocked! All the wet food shelves were really empty! Update: went to use two of the cans, and noticed they look kind of funny, they both expired in October 2017. One can was $3.99 and the other was $4.99, so I literally had to throw out $9 because they were expired. So my review is now 1 star. read more

For a well known company, this location has horrible customer service. After purchasing two fish before the holiday season, unfortunately one passed this morning. Knowing a majority of pet stores have a week to bring in the dead fish to get a new one, I called the store to verify and ensure policy. Not only was the "manager" rude by his tone but by stating "oh well they were healthy when they left the store and before that" to insinuate we would kill one fish? What a "great" manager. Doesn't matter how far you live from Pet Kraze in Brewster that's the best place to go for pet supplies and fish. read more

They literally charge a 100% markup on their retail prices. For example: Fresh step 25lb cat litter $25.99 Aquarium filter floss $10.99 10 gallon aquarium $39.99 1.58 oz tetra cichlid flakes $10.99 Aquarium check valve $5.99 I will never go on there again. Very clean! People are very nice and pleasant and always willing to help. Pretty good prices and less expenses than petco! Only problem is their Axolotls are put together with fish and gravel which is a big no no. Axolotls can be eat each other's limbs and shouldn't have two in a small tank. Next they shouldn't be with fish because the can eat them, and they can get stuck in their gills. Lastly NEVER ever have gravel with them. It's the rule of thumb. If they ingest that gravel they can die because it will get stuck in their stomachs. read more

I completely forgot that this store had fish. I purchased 4 guppies ($3.99 a pair). The guppies are 100 times better quality than those found in Petco. Not only did the aquariums look clean and healthy...the store itself was extremely clean. The lady who helped me was extremely nice. A+++ read more

DO NOT BUY REPTILES FROM HERE. I bought a baby leopard gecko from here which ended up having CRYPTOSPORIDIOSIS (very contagious parasites) I was unaware of this disease at the time, and now I'm pretty sure my other leopard gecko has it. And there is no cure. You have to euthanize it or just let it die. If one of their geckos have it, then all of them do. Such a shame that it's legal for them to do this to people. I put over $400 into trying to keep that baby alive because I just thought I had its tank set up incorrectly, When I was actually doing everything right. read more

The staff was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful in assisting me in the proper food and nutrition for my aging Beagle. They were never aggressive in trying to sell, sell, sell but seemed sincerely concerned about helping me find something that was appropriate. Love this place. I've used this place over the years for all my pet needs I have a dog a cat and many different aquariums. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgable. They know all about what is in the food your feeding your pet and can help you pick the best food for your pets needs. From protein to crude fats and grain free vs gluten free and everything in between. I will admit I do think there prices are a little high. However if you sign up for their rewards program ever ten bag is free. You also accumulate points toward discount percentage you can use. I love love love their fish selection. I wish they would expand it a bit. However they will special order you any aquatic plant or substrate or live fish even. There prices a competitive with petcos prices. But they have better quality fish. They have sharks. Discus. Tropical. Cichlids. Koi. Feeder fish. Bettas. Plecos. Dinos. Mollies. They have a little of everything. Check them out. read more

I've been going here for a few years for supplies for my 2 dogs. What sets this place apart is the staff. They're courteous knowledgeable and will go out of their way to help you out. Whether it's first thing in the morning or 2 minutes before closing they'll take as much time as you need to help you out. They have a good selection of mostly quality products. This is a 4 and not 5 star review because they are bit pricey, although there are discounts here and there if you look around. To me it's worth a couple of extra bucks knowing I'll get an honest answer on a product or service if I ask. read more
