After a few days with no air conditioning and inside temps in the 90s (yes, inside temperature was…read more91°. Outside was almost 100°F). I'm an old girl and the heat was intolerable. Specific had come out to my home before, a few years ago, and did a great job fixing the central air unit, but I couldn't remember the name of the company and I couldn't find the receipt. So I called another place. Huge mistake. They came out and said the whole thing was no good and couldn't be fixed, then they sent a salesman out, who quoted me $7,700 for a new one. Well, I'm old but I'm not stupid. I sent him on his way and searched frantically for the old receipt from Specific Heating and Air Conditioning. I found it and called immediately. Andy came out right away, looked at the unit and said, "Yeah, I think I should be able to fix it," which he did in a very short amount of time. Perfectly.
