It was actually perfect. We finally got to the dreaded end of life for both our furnace and air conditioner and right during the busiest time for all companies, midsummer and right after two rounds of very damaging storms. We got a quote from the company we had been using and that quote wasn't necessarily gross outside of reasonable but we felt that with such a high investment we should get at least one more quote. We called Enright, who handled the quote and all of our questions immediately. They were less expensive than our previous quote, had a much better warranty and better financing. They are also clearly competent. The owner, out of mercy on our souls after the storms came to see our broken system first and we didn't hear him at the door and he had to leave. We felt horrible. He is busy! He treated us with such grace. The company is family owned and operated and works around the clock and are very accessible. The installers came right on time, were extremely polite and conscientious the entire time and finished their quality work ahead of time. They were clean, well organized and cheerful. Do not hesitate to use this company. I really don't see how their service can be beat.

After they finished they claim he needed a new furnace at a cost of $5K. I searched for another company for a competitive price and different experts and I found Enright. They had great reviews, were in the area, and were able to come quick. They have earned their praise from others and I am so thankful for them. After an actual cleaning and diagnosis they came up with Dad needing a thermostat....not a new $5k furnace. I cannot thank you guys enough. You deserve all the praise and I will strongly recommend Enright. They are thorough and honest. That is a very rare combination in my experience dealing with the skilled service industry.

I'm only giving 4 stars overall because I couldn't get the unit installed same day or even next day. Wednesday Ray and Victor installed the new unit. Nice guys. Thursday I get home and its freezing in my house. I notice that the thermostat reads 64 but set to 70. I call Zack, my saving grace!! He calls the office and they send Casey (sp?). Casey showed up that afternoon and found that a wire had shorted. Quick fix and he was on his way. I do recommend Dykstra. M & B inspected the unit and replaced the controller. The parts and labor were $350.00. If precision gives you an estimate, get a second opinion. Van Drunen dispatched a representative to inspect the work, but he denied the existence of the problem. After trial and error, we were able to localize the leak to where the vent connects to the unit. I went on the roof and sealed it myself. Meanwhile, the unit ran out of freon just after the warranty expired and causing all my tenant's food to spoil. The service representative was almost tauntingly rude to me when explaining the issue. I contacted a semi-retired HVAC man from Lansing who advised that someone drilled a hole in the unit to leak the freon. Use this company at your own risk. There are so many much more dependable and professional companies in the NW Indiana/South Chicago area.

My AC was blowing warm air and my husband was at work. I researched mailers, yelp reviews, and called a couple of heating and air conditioning services. I'm calling the advertised after 24 hour emergency phone lines and leaving messages with no reply. Finally, Windy City Mechanical answers the phone and inform me they could send someone out. Luckily, the guy lives right around the corner and is there in minutes. He walks up introduce himself and proceeds to inspect my AC unit. We go in the house and he informs me of the options available. He sat in my house for an hour sweating bullets with no complaint or discomfort answering all my questions and my husband's via phone. My husband and I decided to replace the entire AC unit for various reasons including the age of the unit. Tom educated me on our options and explained the units fairly and without bias towards a more expensive unit. As a matter of fact, he determined we didn't need the larger unit we currently had and a smaller (less expensive) unit would suffice. Nevertheless, his guys were there the next morning to replace our AC unit. They were prompt, professional, and efficient. I would highly recommend Windy City Mechanical they gave us a great deal!

Instead of speaking with someone, we were directed to a text system that assured us a technician would get back to us "shortly." More than nine hours later, we still hadn't heard a word. Our son, who has been a homeowner for a few years, recommended we call Zark. I'm so glad he did! When I called, Rob, the owner, said he was just grabbing a cup of coffee and would head over right afterward. True to his word, he arrived quickly. Rob confirmed the issue my husband suspected, replaced the faulty part, and had our air conditioner running again in no time. He also offered us a discount on the repair when we signed up for their routine maintenance plan--which is actually $50 less than what we had been paying the company that installed our system. Rob was honest, responsive, knowledgeable, and fair. It's refreshing to find a business that truly takes care of its customers, especially when you're dealing with an unexpected problem before a holiday weekend. Zark has definitely earned our trust, and they have gained loyal customers. We truly value businesses that stand behind their service and can be counted on when it matters most. Highly recommend!
