Ambiance - super clean and customer focus. They provide everything you can think of that you may need before and after your treatment. The space is very calming overall and the treatment room is clean and comfortable. No children are allowed unless accompanied by an adult at all times who can wait with them while you receive your service. This is all because of safety so just keep that in mind. Customer Service - upon arriving you are greeted quickly and taken directly back to get ready for your treatment. The front desk staff are very personable and are always accommodating to your needs. There is water and comfy chairs to as well if you by any chance have to wait a little ( highly unlikely) I get both Brazilian and Underarms treated and have seen really good results thus far. The nurses ( not technicians) are all amazing. They make the process as comfortable as can be even when you are butt naked (lol) Overall Experience - as you can see I highly recommend using them for your laser services. She's always talked about how great her experience is and finally convinced several of us to switch our business over. I came here Saturday afternoon for a Brazilian and under arm wax with Maria. She was early and waiting for me when I arrived. The salon was immaculate, and everyone had a professional appearance and demeanor. The bathroom was pristine with wipes for the clients to use to freshen up before services. The room was clean, with no wax hanging out anywhere, and it didn't look dirty or sticky. There was a fresh, neutral scent in the air, and the table was spotless with fresh paper. During the wax, Maria paid close attention to detail but was very efficient. Her conversation was delightful, and I enjoyed our rapport. As soon as I got off the table, I could feel a difference in the quality of the wax I received. No pain and silky smooth. She got me checked out, and I rescheduled immediately. Pure Sugar will be my new go-to for waxing in the area. Their prices are some of the most reasonable in town. Worth it.

Along with that, the bright LED light was on the entire time of my facial making it difficult to relax since it was so bright. The specialist also kept leaving the room and coming back during which was distracting. Lastly, there used to be a nice steam and other facial features during your visit and I didn't have that this time. Just seemed expensive for the length of time and a cleanser+mask treatment. I found a groupon for Mary and decided to give it a try. She was so warm and welcoming from the first time I talked with her. We set up an appointment, where she explained electrolysis 101 and got started right away. She is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled!! It was so nice to have someone explain the entire process to me, what exactly she'd be doing and how it works to get rid of hair. (Side note: did you know that electrolysis is the only *permanent* hair removal method?? Not laser! I had no idea.) Mary's Fort Mill studio is clean, simply and beautifully decorated, and is designed to put you at ease. I think she also has a home office, but it's further from me so I haven't been there. Ok, I'll be honest here: electrolysis is no walk in the park. It hurts like a b*tch. But Mary is so sweet and will adjust the settings to make sure it's manageable for you. She also has numbing cream you can buy in sample packs for a small fee. Plus, Mary is quick! So even though it's painful, she gets a lot done in a short amount of time. Electrolysis is a commitment. During my first appointment, Mary warned me that it's a process and I needed to trust the process.
