If there's one word to describe this place, it'd be cute. But I guess cuteness comes at a price, because things here are just a bit exxy by Asian standards. Sure, you'd probably expect to pay $7 for a smoothie, $6 for an iced coffee or $9 for a slice of cake in any other cafe but somehow it just seems wrong when you're in Eastwood. But hey, it tastes good and it looks SO FREAKING CUTE so I'll let it slide. Service can be a bit iffy, with several tables staying uncleared for the whole time I was there and staff not being able to explain several items on their menu. And be prepared to carry your own food and drinks with you if you sit upstairs. These guys are open til late, so it's usually packed on any night of the week with students and their laptops using the wifi. But hey, they're probably pretty cute too so it all just adds to the charm.

The atmosphere is nice, it is very much like what a sweets cafe looks like in Lebanon before all the craziness. It's clean spacious and will set out. The service was fast and friendly with the waitresses joking around with us when trying to speak broken Arabic to them. Their custards are ok, it's nice that you can add whatever you want to them to make them a wee bit more interesting. However I would stick with their custards and don't deviate from that. My partner wanted a frozen custard the other night and I thought I'd love a hot chocolate because I was cold. What I got was hot water with powdered chocolate in it. No milk. It was disgusting. So bear in mind when you go here to just get what they are known for. Custard. You should be fine with that.
