Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced…read more I rented a suit from this Men's Wearhouse location (8514 Fenton St, Silver Spring, MD) on December 12, 2024, for an event in February 2025. I canceled the rental on February 3, 2025, and was promised a refund of $202.46. Over 3 months later, after visiting the store more than 10 times, I still have not received my refund. The employees, including the manager, repeatedly gave me false promises, excuses, and contradictory answers, but no actual solution. They wasted my time and showed zero professionalism or accountability. I eventually had to escalate the issue to corporate just to get a response. The next step will be reporting to BBB and my bank if I don't get any response from corporate. I strongly recommend avoiding this store location. They do not honor their word, they mishandle refunds, and they show complete disregard for customer service.

Overall, I had a pretty good experience at this Men's Wearhouse. The young fellow from New Orleans…read moredid an excellent job in finding and sizing a last-minute suit for a family function. All the employees seemed pretty friendly and very helpful. Although I do not purchase suits on a regular basis, I thought the prices were pretty fine. While they did not have as many styles as I would have liked (mainly because of my own time [and size] constraints), the wearhouse had a decent selections. Fortunately, tailoring took a couple of days; however, I was a bit shocked that they charged an express fee of around $30 to hem the pants. But, hey, I guess that's the business. Suits aside, I did see decent casual and business casual wear that was not too expensive. I might have to stop by again to check out some of these items in the near future.

Sage is the G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time) at this David's Bridal Rockville!…read more This review is especially dedicated to my fellow plus-size brides: David's Bridal delivers on both variety and price point. I tried on gowns ranging from $500-$2,000, and there were multiple flattering options in my size (20+). Compared to BHLDN, where plus sizes exist but most dresses are satin, clingy, and limited in style, David's offered far more range. True, it's not the "champagne-in-hand boutique" vibe, but the upside is no appointment fees and way less pressure to buy on the spot. That said, you do need to come in with a clear sense of your style and budget, since many of the stylists here are fairly inexperienced and not always confident in guiding plus-size clients. Having worked in retail myself (including at Nordstrom), I know what strong styling support can look like -- and that's exactly why Sage stood out. She was a true pro, balancing honest feedback with thoughtful styling that made the whole experience fun. She even saved the day during a store blackout when I was desperate to pick up my dress before a flight to California -- true hero status! After four visits -- walk-in scouting, a solo try-on, a confirmation appointment with Sage, and purchase day -- I found the dress. Thanks to Sage and the head seamstress, I walked away confident in my choice and deeply grateful for the support. Tips for shopping here: Ask for Sage if you can -- she's experienced, encouraging, and makes the process smooth. Weekday mornings are gold. The store is calmer and you'll have more time and space to try things on. Appointments allow 5 dresses per 1-hour session. If you're unsure, pop in as a walk-in first to scout styles, then come back for a proper fitting. If you're a plus-size bride and want both options and honesty, this is a great stop on your dress journey.

My friends and I came to this David's bridal in Rockville to find a certain dress for the wedding…read morewe are a part of. We were greeted and serviced immediately. The bridal associate did the best she could by helping us, but the dress selection was VERY limited. They barely had the dresses we liked and did not have samples of the color to try on. Other than that, we did end up choosing 2 dresses for a bridal party for about 12. We also are all in different states, so I had my laptop propped up we all were on Google meet. Another bridal associate came to assist and they were both helping by taking our pictures she providing necessary commentary needed for each dress. We found out later on that the color might be discontinued, so that was a bummer. The dresses weren't as pricey and I've seen, but there wasn't a sale either. lol Overall, I probably would call to see if the selections are there before making an appointment, but I was hopeful that if it was online it would be in store as well.

I've been taking my clothes to Rose Cleaners since 2021, and they consistently do a great job…read moretaking care of each garment. The best service the offer is alterations. Mr. Kim is incredibly meticulous and detailed oriented. When altering skirts and dresses, he doesn't just shorten or lengthen them, he thoughtfully adjusts them with your body shape and fit in mind, which makes a huge difference. He clearly knows fabrics well and understands exactly how each material should be cleaned and handled. Although his English is not fluent, he is always friendly and professional and takes great care with everything--from everyday clothing to more delicate items. Turnaround time has always been reasonable, and my clothes consistently come back clean, pressed, and looking fabulous. :)

Pretty decent and quick service…read more I thought the pricing for dry cleaning was good. Since this is my first dry cleaning experience in the area, I cannot compare it to other places. But, the cost for three shirts, two suit jackets, and one pair of pants was about $37. Also, extra points because my items were ready first thing the following day. I'll admit that I originally came here because I needed a pair of pants altered. Unfortunately, I could not use the alteration services because I need 2- to 3-business day turnaround. While I have not tried a lot of dry cleaning places in the area, I have a feeling this will be my go to spot.
