Instead they scoop it for you, which is fine. But there was only one person working, so service was slow. The toppings were not labeled so we had to ask what some of the toppings were. When we checked out, there were no spoons because they ran out so we had to go to the gas station to get spoons. I would give it another chance because I understand things get busy on holidays, but the issue I want to address is the unlabeled cookies. They were giving away free cookies for Mother's Day. I grabbed what I thought looked like chocolate chip at first glance in the case, but when I got home and took a bite I realized it was peanut butter. The cookie was not labeled at all aside from the logo sticker. No ingredients or allergen warning. I am not allergic to nuts, but I have friends who are, so I thought I should bring this to everyone's attention. They need to at least label things for safety. Not sure we will go back based on this experience. We are not complaining about the single worker because none of this was their fault, but we hope the management/owners will address these issues.

They are tucked in the area towards the back of the strip mall but Google got us right there Andrea meet us as we walked in and was very helpful with selections that I could have since I don't eat meat. I had one spinach and one artichoke, my husband had two beef and one philly. SO YUMMY!!! And the sauces they pair with the empanadas were also made with love. I had to get a cherry empanada to enjoy later We tried the Sea Moss sparkling waters which were yummy as well. They also offer frozen empanadas to take and bake, so I had to get the spinach which I wanted my husband to try. Give them a try! You will be hooked! Thank you Andrea and team Fran & Phillip :-)

So, when Hotpot presented on my Yelp "must eat if you're in the area" I was a bit skeptical. Well, i was wrong. This was an amazing culinary experience. We went during lunch prices which was great because $21/person in our house is a luxury. Our waitress (who was actually the owner) explained that I could order a vegetarian broth then season how I like. She then helped us choose two different flavors for the broth. We then chose our "add ins". There was a bar of fresh vegetables, noodles (with separate tongs) and sauces. Here's where we had to strategize. My husband is not GF. So, he wanted to try the wheat based noodles. That meant he had his broth and I had mine. Though I would have liked to experiment more, that worked out perfectly because I was absolutely in love with the spicy lemongrass. My veggies were delicious with a variety including 3 different mushrooms and squash. Now the downside. Salt. This had to have been one of the saltiest dishes Ive ever eaten. If you are sensitive please be aware. But truly, Don't let This little restaurant in a little shopping center fool you. Sorry you're in a mall surrounded by kids who want to come try a bunch of samples for free. My daughter and husband got some and their flavors were yummy but I was so thrown off by the sign of only one sample per person, I immediately was uninterested.

Everyone here is so kind and helpful - plus there's a mural to draw on! The owner is in from time to time with his daughter, otherwise it's often a team of sweet ladies (who also seem to be family) and local teens. They offer several specialty flavors, as well as traditional and choose-your-own. My go-to is maple with Nutella drizzle, but right now they're doing a Pumpkin Spice Powdered Sugar with Carmel Drizzle and pecan pieces. It's really good! The pumpkin spice is mixed into the powder sugar, so it's a nice and mild pumpkin flavor on a very sweet treat! This is a great spot for kids and families! PS: Right now if you go in costume you get a free Halloween donut.

Ethan (I think that was his name) was amazing with customer service, he explained everything about the process, answered all my questions and was so helpful with everything! The first time I actually felt like i wanted to give a tip, not forced to give a tip like everywhere does now. This guy works hard and does it with a smile, I was impressed. It's been awhile since I have had a good customer service experience like this- it was refreshing. My daughter got the cereal killer donut and I got an iced Carmel machiatto- made well (it was just the perfect amount of sweet with sugar free syrup options too!). Inside is super colorful and the menu has super clear photos so you know what you are ordering. My daughter loved the wall because she got to color while we were waiting for my coffee. They let visitors color on the wall every month, then take a photo, and then wipe it off so it's fresh for the next month's customers. Overall, great experience and the donut was delicious' we also got to sample the ice cream apple pie (I will totally be back for this).
