Suddenly he was in his glory and grabbing all the chocolates once he saw what kind of store it was. I think he got a chocolate race car? Whatever it was he couldn't eat it fast enough the next day as he remembered hey where's my chocolate? :P I still have my chocolate from here sitting on my desk just waiting to be eaten by me. What I did eat so far, delicious. Cute shop too. Also gave us samples which held my son over since it was close to dinner time :P

Everything stated so fresh and delicious. The portions were large. The pastries were flaky. The baked goods were light and airy. It takes a lot of time and patience to make authentic French pastries. You see this reflected in the prices which are higher than you would pay elsewhere. It's worth the extra expense.

It was a sign from God as I love two things in the South when it comes to sweet's Pralines and Turtles. This place I hit the jackpot as they have both. Once I enter the door I spot the pralines on the shelf and I get two bags. Than a 1lb box of turtles milk chocolate with pecans for me and hubby. Also a half 1lb to give as a present. I truthfully would have bought out the shop if my luggage didn't have a weight limit. The smell is heavenly in this store and even got a sample of pumpkin fudge tasted just like pumpkin pie. The sales associate was attentive and friendly even asked the names of my cats as I told her this was presents for my friend watching my cats.

I had a different flavored latte everyday and each one was made perfectly with the right balance of caffeine, milk and flavor. My fave was definitely blackberry. I also tried the lavender, almond joy and several others but that was my fave. Sit in the shop and enjoy watching the locals come in for their latte fix. Don't forget to grab a croissant as a treat. Try not to scarf it down in two bites because you will want to savor the buttery goodness. Worth every Penny and I will be sorry to leave HHI and this shop behind.

Hard to describe what happened, but I'll try. First off, Kilwins historically has been solid over…read morethe 9 years of coming to HHI. I want to give them that. But last night, on July 10, 2026, they were not. It was somewhat of an awkward, tourist trap like experience for me. I'm not sure I'm coming back at least for a few years. I won't belabor the points, but I feel robbed... - slow, disengaged workers (there for over an hour) - workers listening to AirPods - closed up early, walking around w drinks and closing blinds. - no waffle cones on a Friday night at prime time. I asked. They were not willing to make them either. - the scoops were so small, really small. Putting a value of it, I estimated for the amount and size I was paying about $35-$40 per pint. That is just too much. - the was a pregnant lady in the waffle area. I'm gonna give Kilwins the benefit of the doubt and say they were doing a kind gesture to a person in need. But it was an awkward atmosphere, very awkward, so I do wonder a bit at least. I love Kilwins. Hope they get their act together. But be aware. It might not be the Kilwins you knew on a previous visit.

It's peach season still and it's right next door! Presentation was amateur $20 was a RIP OFF. This dish was worth $7 and not satisfying at all so even at that price I wouldn't order it. I also feel they know it is inferred the peaches would be fresh without saying it on the menu so they are not held to that standard. but I don't think what I got were even Georgia peaches....
