CHOCOLATE BASH @ WESTFIELD TOPANGA Parking is available outside of any of the available lots as this place is located in the heart of the Westfield Topanga Mall. I've been to a chocolate bash before but in Escondido, CA (more down south) so I knew everything here was going to be good! There was no line and my friend and I ordered chocolate covered strawberries which were about $2.49 each, but you get 2 for free when you sign up with their app. The staff were very friendly and you can choose to top your chocolate strawberry with a drizzle of white, milk, or dark chocolate. Overall, it tasted so fresh, was delicious, and I really enjoyed the ambiance of the place. It was definitely a place i'd stop by! read more

I was excited to try this place, but will not be back- ordered the crépuccini- with strawberries and dark chocolate- it was one of the worst things I've ever eaten (but the strawberries were good) the crepe was undercooked and way too thick and tasted like raw dough- the chocolate drizzle was drenched, not drizzled, and what looked like a teaspoon of whipped cream melted the moment it was dolloped on. It was a mess. After two bites, I threw it out. Very disappointed read more

I'm really disappointed with my recent experience. I placed an order that was never delivered to the office staff. The delivery photo later showed it was left on the side of the building on a planter, not even an attempt to bring it to the suite or leave it at the office door. I've tried contacting the store multiple times to resolve this, but I keep getting the runaround. I'm told I need to speak with the owner, yet when I call back there's no answer or follow-up. I completely understand that delivery issues can happen, but customer service and accountability matter. A little communication or willingness to help would have gone a long way. read more

I immediately ran to this spot when I saw online that they were carrying the viral Dubai chocolate bar known as the Knafeh Pistachio Chocolate. If you follow foodie accounts and tik tok - you will see that this chocolate bar has gone viral for its flavors and uniqueness. Before I get into the dessert, a quick review on this storefront. Chocolate Bash is a cute brick and mortar located inside the Westfield Topanga Mall. Pro top: it's NOT in the Topanga social area (my confusion was assuming it would be in the foodie area). Just know it's located inside the mall on your way to the Mac but one floor under (first floor). I'm glad I didn't pay attention to my phone GPS because it was implying it was outside the mall across the street lol. Hopefully I saved y'all some time who would come looking for it. The store is cute and pink, definitely grabbed my attention. I appreciated that they had a few tables which made it nice to come sit down with your dessert. The staff here are very nice and friendly. Without even looking at the menu I waltzed up to the counter and told the guy I needed the viral chocolate bar lol. He was like "I got you" and walked to the back to bring it up to me. It was already packaged in a cute box. Back to the chocolate, it was AMAZING! I totally get why it's viral. I don't have a sweet tooth but I regret only buying one bar. The Knafeh Pistachio Chocolate bar is a milk chocolate thick candy bar filled with a delicious pistachio cream with small little nibbles of crunch. It makes for the best texture and flavor. $10 is super steep for a chocolate bar, let me be clear. But as someone who doesn't it sweets often it was a well worth it splurge and very enjoyable. I will definitely be back and need to check out more of their menu. read more

A Love Story Between Me and Chocolate Bash If you've ever been heartbroken, betrayed, or just had one of those days where your ex is living their best life while you're just trying to remember where you left your keys, Chocolate Bash is the healing you never knew you needed. From the moment I walked in, I knew I had entered a dessert sanctuary. The warm, chocolatey aroma wrapped around me like a comforting hug, whispering, "We will never cheat on you." And they meant it. Now, let's talk about Ritu the angel behind the counter who single-handedly restored my faith in humanity. She didn't just make my Strawberry Dubai Cup; she crafted it with love, precision, and what I can only describe as an artist's touch. Every strawberry was perfectly placed, the chocolate drizzled like a Michelangelo masterpiece. It wasn't just dessert; it was a love letter in a cup. And let's not forget the menu. Whether you're in the mood for the most decadent crepes, fluffy waffles, or pancakes that taste like happiness, Chocolate Bash delivers. Every bite was a perfect balance of rich, gooey, and crunchy--like the universe itself conspired to bring this level of deliciousness into my life. The ambiance? Cozy, chic, and welcoming. The kind of place where you can sit for hours, drowning your sorrows in Nutella, and no one will judge you. Because here, they understand: chocolate is therapy. BUT here's where things get real, the moment I looked at my bill, I almost had to take out a small loan. $20 for a cup? Listen, I love chocolate, but at these prices, I need it to fix my credit score, pay my rent, and whisper sweet affirmations in my ear every morning. I get it, your chocolate is imported, your pistachios are from the gates of heaven, and your knafeh is handwoven by dessert artisans from the old country. But at the end of the day, I'm just a customer who wants a little sugar therapy without needing to refinance my car. So whether you're celebrating, healing, or just looking for an excuse to indulge--Chocolate Bash is the place to be. Someone give this place a Michelin star and Ritu a raise! But that price tag? That's the only thing keeping me from giving it a full 5 stars. Still, if you're in the mood for luxury-level desserts (and you're okay dropping the price of a small meal on a cup of chocolate), Chocolate Bash is the place to be. Final Verdict: Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I bring a coupon next time? You better believe it. read more

However, the customer should not be made to feel responsible for correcting the restaurant's mistake, particularly over such a small amount. A simple "I'm sorry, we made a mistake--we'll take care of it" would have made a big difference. (Shout out to Starbucks !) The food is good, which is why I continue to come back. My concern is that if regular customers are made to feel unwelcome or argued with over an order error, the business could lose loyal customers. The Dubai chocolate bar is an absolute indulgence for any chocolate lover! This decadent treat is a perfect blend of textures and flavors that will leave you craving more. The thick, rich chocolate coating is the perfect canvas for the sweet and creamy knafeh filling. It's like biting into a cloud of sugary bliss. The addition of crunchy pistachios adds a delightful textural contrast and a hint of nutty flavor. This chocolate bar is definitely a treat to be savored. It's the perfect pick-me-up or dessert to share with friends. If you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend giving it a go! read more

amazing desserts honestly one of the best I've ever had ,but what really makes this place stand out is the employees. This was my first time to visit, they are incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely care about their customers. Great customer service is hard to find these days, and this team goes above and beyond. The staff had such a positive attitude and makes the experience enjoyable from start to finish. Management should be proud of them--they truly deserve a raise! Stopped by and ordered a pistachio latte for myself and a caramel latte for my husband. Both drinks were just okay -- nothing standout, and honestly a bit forgettable for the price. The bigger letdown was the service. The server barely said a word to us -- no greeting, no suggestions, no "how's everything tasting?" Just took the order and that was it. It didn't feel unwelcoming exactly, but it definitely wasn't hospitable either. A little warmth goes a long way. Not sure I'd rush back, but it's fine if you're nearby and just need a quick caffeine fix. read more

Our most recent trip, we went on a Saturday around 5:15pm and there was one other group in there. However, when we left there were several groups in there. They were well staffed with at least five employees that I can remember taking orders. We ordered a banana split ($13.99) with vanilla, dulce de leche, and mud pie as our ice cream flavors. Our wet toppings were hot fudge x2 and marshmallow. My partner likes peanuts but I don't necessarily care for them, so he selected the crushed peanuts as our dry topping and requested that it only be put on top of the vanilla ice cream (his ice cream selection). Our server happily obliged. What I found to be really impressive was while we were waiting for our banana split to be created, we were approached at least three times asking if we had been helped yet. They are really on top of it here. In terms of the ice cream - it looks like a kid's dream, and tastes just as good as it looks. The banana split comes with two bananas, which tasted ripe, and it was definitely sharable between two people. Parking: We did end up having to pay $2 for parking. When we went up to the parking garage and scanned our ticket it said we were good, and once we drove to get out it told us we needed to pay $2. Turns out we were there for an hour and a minute - I guess that minute occurred between the two scans. The decor is amazing, the selections go on for days, cute gifts, a clean bathroom that was also fabulous! I'm a fan!!! Jesse offered ice cream samples and/or fudge. They also had cookies and candy. It was the kind of place you envision when you think of ice cream and candy. Willie Wonka-esque even. They had SO many amazing flavors. Jesse was super patient while i figured my life out. I'm currently stuck on this McConnells flavor that is from their See's collab, I admit that I was trying to create my own version of it. I did great! I've tried their matcha, as well as their pumpkin crumble iced latte, multiple times. Every time I've tried their drinks, I felt like they've been good, but nothing crazy or worth raving about. The pricing on the pastries and food isn't amazing, but seems to have pretty normal pricing when it comes to the drinks. Cons: On multiple occasions, the workers behind the counter have messed up my drink. Whether it's asking for almond milk or a certain size, it seems to be really difficult for any of the workers there to do it correctly on the first try. Additionally, they also sell cakes that could be used for birthdays, anniversaries, and more, which means that it's important to have good customer service, especially for those big events. Furthermore, every time I've come, it seems like there's only one to two workers working at a time within the whole store, managing any outside seating, inside seating, cleaning, and cashiering. Although their pastries and breads are pretty good, I had to learn the hard and hungry way that all of their sandwiches automatically include mustard and or mayonnaise on them. None of the sandwiches come with condiments on the side, and all of them are already premade ahead of time, which is really annoying. Even if you eat the added condiments, they've been sitting out all day. Without their pastries, I honestly wouldn't be coming, but because there's no Porto's in Woodland Hills, Paris Baguette is the next chain that's close that caters towards that type of food.
