If you don't drink alcohol there is coffee to be had as well. Staff is very very very helpful and personal. No pressure to buy but I hope you do. The tasting will help guide you on what you should get. The dark chocolate and pistachio are great as well as the fruit and nut bar. Everything was awesome. There are only two workers going non stop taking inventory making drinks and giving the chocolate presentations. Plus greeting people as they walk in. I only had the hot chocolate and it is a 10 out of 10. I bought a large to go and wish this wasn't my last day in Porto as I would have been here every day getting this thick hot dark chocolate beverage. Wow! I dinged a star cause i waited til they opened at 11 am, which was a late start for me to go be a tourist, and she tells me " we just opened, the hot chocolate won't be ready for an hour. I had Belgium chocolate a long time ago and then gourmet American chocolate. I used to like gourmet American chocolate but when coming here on my own, I have lost my craving for it. I am okay with it because it means I will want to eat less chocolate when I return to the US. I looked at several reviews for a few Portugal chocolate competitors and this one stood out to me based on display when walking the streets and reviews online. If you want these shipped to the US, you have to email the company and work it out with them. I highly recommend Port Wine chocolate but I am sure you cannot go wrong with other options. It is very pricey.. $8 for 1 port and 1 truffle. However, I did not see any other port and chocolate tastings around, so if there isn't much competition.. why have a low price. Anyways, this place has fantastic chocolate!! This Portuguese chocolate is rich and gourmet! They sell bars of chocolate for around 6-8 euro, I noticed a majority of dark chocolate being represented. I also had the hot chocolate.. a must have!! So thick and rich!! It's as if they melted a whole chocolate bar with just a little bit of milk mixed in. Maybe ranks as one the best hot chocolates I have had. A couple of tables outside so you can enjoy whatever you get from here. It never seems crowded. Come in and give your sweet tooth a snack! Just got the hot chocolate, but it was really extraordinary. It's more "drinking chocolate" style than American hot chocolate, so very thick and rich, but much better tasting than most drinking chocolate I've tried which can get cloyingly sweet. The small size was the right amount for me. read more

Come in and get hit with the smell of chocolate. I already had some of their chocolates from their other location, but the sign said port and chocolate pairing. How could I walk away? The whole place smelled of delicious rich chocolate so we had to stop and do a tasting. The chocolate and wine tasting was a nice start to our wine cellar outing. It was 12,5€ for three port wines and 3 truffles with side chocolate and dried fruit. Overall, chocolate was 5 stars, wine was just okay but worth checking out. read more
