I came into the hospital praying that my OB could be there or at least a female as it's a delicate situation in a tender place. So when he came in the triage room to introduce himself, I was quite surprised! I'll tell ya... I am SO beyond grateful that he was my doctor that night. There was not one moment that I felt rushed, or that he was frustrated with my many attempts to stop pushing because it hurt. In every way, he was calm, gentle, encouraging & extremely respectful. My mother-in-law (a doctor) and sister-in-law (a NP) were talking about how impressed they was with his bedside manner & skill as a doctor. If you want to feel respected & empowered when you deliver your baby - he's a great person to seek out! I wish I was more with it in the moment to say thank you & recognize what all he did to make sure my son came to the world safely, but hopefully this helps in a "thank you!" They file insurance claims late, fail to bill patients for services and then make harassing calls for payment over the phone. They are very unfriendly - from the closed window in the waiting room to scheduling the next appt. Upon finding another Dr, I found out 3 people I know had the exact same issue with Dr Lieber and staff and had also moved to another Dr. I only wish I had known that before I changed to this practice.
