This place was just the vibe! The interior was just like we're seaside, cute photos of fishing, and the decor was just a cute. The music is a little on the louder end, but it wasn't that bad. The tables were a bit small though. The server was so nice, friendly, funny, and outgoing. She made the visit memorable. She was completely attentive and checked on us often, set up the hotpot and continuously checked on it. Now let's get to the food, when they say the large hot pot serves 4+ people, it definitely does. It was huge! The broth was AMAZING, so delicious, and the seafood inside, there was such a good variety and it was just all so yummy. We didn't notice it came with unlimited rice, ramen, and udon until we got home. We were a little tipsy, lol. So the $98, already worth it to us, would have even been better if we got our refills. All the sides it came with were also pretty good, including the kimchi. We also got a small serving of the sashimi, and it was so fresh and satisfying with the chojang sauce. I also realized they didn't give us all the sides both the hotpot and the sashimi should have came with, but our table was already so full, so we didn't notice until we got home as well. That's probably the only reason why I'm not giving it the full 5 stars. Overall we couldn't stop talking about our meal here, it was such a fun time with friends just drinking soju and enjoying the good food. This is going to be in my number 1 spots to take people to just enjoy company, and will highly recommend to others! I hope you never change Cho Jang, and the quality sticks around.

This place did a nice job with making it feel like you're in Jeju. Came here around the time they opened so there was no wait, but the place filled up quickly. We ordered the small sashimi combo which was more than enough food for two people. Oysters and sashimi were fresh. I liked all the side dishes as well, and ended with seafood ramen. Will definitely be back to try the hotpot!
This place is yummy! There is a good assortment of seafood to try and it's all very fresh. I'd recommend only coming here with a group up to 4 people though, as all of the tables are limited to 4 seats. I'm sure they could accommodate larger groups, but you would be seated separately. The large seafood combo for $78 is a great value!! Not only do you get all of the sashimi, you get so many various side dishes and even a big bowl of seafood ramen at the end. We also ordered a tonkatsu and rice, and that was plenty of food for our group. The service was quick and the pace was great. The table space is limited, so the servers do a great job of managing that by clearing out empty dishes and giving us our sides throughout the meal, instead of all at once. It did take a long time for our plain white rice to come out, but other than that, the food kept flowing. The flavors here of course are very seafood forward, but also a few items were pretty spicy like the clam soup, the oysters, and the ramen. So this meal is great if that is what you are looking for. Overall, a great new seafood spot for smaller groups, but if you order anything extra from the sets, expect to wait a little longer. I'd come back again to try more of the a la carte items.
Cho Jang is a new Korean restaurant located in Chinatown. You'll find them on Spring Mountain and Jones, near Mala Town, next to Hatoya. There's good parking. Grand opening was on April 4, 2026. Inside is inviting and colorful with plenty of seating and awesome music playing a genre blend of R&B, hip hop, and Korean, it's such a cool vibe! Menu offers seafood hotpot, udon, a la carte, sashimi combo tray, and tasty sides. I ordered light and chose Fried Dumplings (5 pieces, $3.95), it's very good! Dumpling is pan-fried crispy and served with mild chili sauce. Also had Shrimp Tempura (3 pieces, $5.95), beautifully fried golden crispy, tender shrimp, and so tasty! I noticed they have Signature Futomaki ($12.95), inside has assorted fish, ozaki crab, shrimp tempura, tamago, kanpyo (dried gourd shavings), pickled radish, and cucumber. I can't have assorted fish and asked if it's possible to omit, JJ kindly checked with the chef. Upon returning, JJ mentioned they can't really customize because the fish is needed to roll. That's understandable, it would be nice though if they have an option for Vegetarian Futomaki. Service from JJ is very kind, welcoming, attentive, efficient, and friendly! He checked in regularly which is appreciated. Atmosphere is chill, laid back, relaxing, and music vibe is awesome! It's nice they open late and JJ is very helpful and pleasant!
I like this place, feel like you at Korea, feel the authentic. They taught how to eat sashimi Korean way. Interesting ! The service is very friendly and environment is nice with Korea music. It's easy you just choose the size and the food coming as you finished them. actually there is a fish but I forgot to take pics. I am not sure if you can re-fill the Cho-jang paste. It is very tasty. First time great impression about this place.
I went with my s/o and got the small sashimi platter combo, along with a side of futomaki. It was $70 for the combo, and honestly we got full without the side! All of the raw fish was fresh and thick, the salmon was buttery. The place was small but comfortable, and the waitress checked on us the perfect amount of times. It was wonderful, would definitely come back!
so the vibes are legit in this place. The moment i step in, i can feel my hand reaching for the soju bottles :). Definitely a fan of this place. The music, the vibes, the service is just all of what makes me love my korean heritage. The menu is fun and diverse and they have items for non seafood people like katsu which is the old style katsu. The fish quality is legit here... and it offers such a good bang for the buck model . The service was so friendly and it literally just had the most fun vibe ever. I know i normally write long reviews for these types of places but this one is simple. Check it out, you are missing out if you havent been here yet.

I actually just saw the outside with grand opening sign and decided to go in without doing any research what this place is. And the surprise was a good one. this is a Korean seafood place. So far the main character they're promoting is the sashimi platter combo. It comes with so much food and a pot of seafood ramen at the end of the meal. The decoration is so unique they even play live seawater hitting the beach sounds. I like the little switch in scenery since we live in the desert. The owner?/manager was so attentive they come to check on our table multiple times and bring out the noodle right when we're done with the food. I really like their vibe. I ended up coming here again the next day with a different group of friends and they love it too.
Me and my husband are locals so we love to discover new places all the time. My second time here within a week! This place is awesome! Great vibes and food, the hospitality is top notch! JJ made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. We felt like one of his old friends. Super nice and chill. The food is amazing. Seafood tastes so fresh and clean. Definitely coming back with more friends!
We visited on their first day. We got the medium sashimi and the kimchi noodles. Good vibes and interior design. I'm sure there is room for improvement but it's their first day of operation so we're satisfied and will be back for the seafood steam. I recommend this place for a night out with friends and date night. Party greater than 4 might have to get two tables due to the size of their round tables.

wonderful in my opinion. this type of interior available w the proper vibe and exp - something that reminds me of an LA pocha. I personally liked the food - sashimi plate, seafood udon, and katsu. [tteokbokki unfortunately ended up not being something i prefer due to flavor profile : more on the sweeter and sharper side (would be good paired w alc during a latenight : a classic yashik ) but i'm more of a spicy typpa gal ] i honestly feel like when the place is poppin it wld be really nice to be there. it reminds me of home bustlin rumble of people chattering, laughing, sharing good food, and *dancin the night away* 정말 잘 먹었어요! 고맙습니다 read more

The price has increased, but the value has dropped even further. With the $69 set for two, the portions are extremely underwhelming: two oysters, two soup(with an unfresh mussel), a few small side dishes, some fried items, cheese corn, a pan‑fried fish, tiny cuts of sashimi, and instant noodles clearly meant just to fill you up. For what they charge, the meal feels more like cheap fillers than a proper dining experience. Considering the portion size, quality, and overall experience, it's simply not worth the price. For the same amount, I'd much rather go for AYCE sushi, where you get far better variety, freshness, and value. The set is overpriced, low in quality, and not worth revisiting. read more

Food was absolutely amazing! It was our first time visiting, and we were really impressed. JJ, our server, went above and beyond. He was very attentive and made sure we had a great experience from start to finish. Usually, when a place offers great deals, the food is just "okay"--but this place is completely different. Not only are the deals great, every dish is genuinely delicious. You don't feel like you're compromising at all. They were very generous with the seafood in the seafood ramen. The crab leg in the soup was incredibly fresh--you can really taste the quality. The sashimi was excellent, the veggies were fresh and refreshing, and the kimchi stood out with its rich flavor. The mackerel was juicy and tender. Honestly, I loved every single dish. For reference, I came with my husband and we ordered the small combo, which was perfect for two people and way enough. We couldn't finish everything and we wanted to because it was so delicious. Highly recommend! read more

Sashimi & Futomaki was very fresh, the seafood Ramen was also delicious. Service wise so so! Ambiance is cute like seafood house by the wharf, but i didn't really like the seating too crowded for the food, all the tables are same size, not much room at all. So I give it a 4 read more

Soooo good, everything felt fresh and handmade. The sashimi and grilled mackerel were my favorite. The server was amazing as well, very kind and checked on us often to make sure we were enjoying. She also made sure we knew that the seafood ramen was a part of our meal and gave us a Togo container! Also the bathroom was very clean as well :) will definitely back with a couple more people to do the hot pot next read more

한국식당 초장집: 2026년 3월 21일 토요일에 오픈을 했답니다. 3월 22일에 방문했어요. 모듬활어회 콤보 3종류 중에서 두 명이서 미듐 사이즈 시켰어요. 3명도 충분할거에요. 모듬활어회 콤보의 사이드 모두 좋았습니다. 미듐 사이즈 활어회는 광어 8개, 방어 8개, 연어 8개, 참치 8개 그리고 약간의 생소라 이렇게 구성된 한 상이었어요. 사시미가 물컹 거리거나 비린내가 나지 않았고 신선했어요. 사이드로 맨 마지막에 준비해 주신 특히 해물라면이 미쳤습니다 큰 냄비에 콩나물, 조개류, 꽃게 등등 양이 푸짐했죠. 짜지않고 깔끔한 국물도 끝내줍니다. 저 혼자만 술을 마셔서 소주 한 병만 마셔야 해서 좀 아쉬웠어요 술맛 좋게 해주는 내부 인테리어에 훌륭한 안주들도 좋아요. 초장집 사장님 초심 지키셔서 번창하시길 바래요. 그래서 리뷰 남겨요. read more

Fresh sashimi for price of nothing. Can't ask for more. Amazing vibes with 4 people set only 79.99. Not sure where else can find such cheap price in Vegas. And their sashimi are thick fresh and tasty. Perfect for friends and family. read more

everything tasted so fresh and it didn't feel heavy at all. we got 2 large combos for our group of 7 and it was more than enough for all of us. it was so worth it because it comes with all of the side dishes, appetizers, entrees, sauces, etc. the tonkatsu and seafood ramyeon are not included in the combo. will definitely be back to try the seafood pancake! don't recommend this place if you have a seafood allergy. they've been open for 3 weeks! loved the service everyone was so nice read more

I ordered a large combo. The sashimi was great, big plate. some side dishes. I like the tempura, but I don't like the fish .The waiter is enthusiastic. It's very good dining experience ,but next time I will rather order single dishes than combo. read more

Inside ambience definitely feels very authentic from the walls to the the tables. Menu is very shareable and absolute tasty. We loved the freshness of the sashimi and the quality of their sauces. But what really stood out was as the customer service. There was one service taking care of the whole restaurant. There was a constant flow of customers coming through and this guy was fast efficient and maintained his composure the entire time, he did not waver! Thank you! Will def be back read more

A very poor experience. We waited for over an hour, and during that time there were couples empty tables. Tables would remain vacant for 15-20 minutes without taking customers to seat. while we were told to keep waiting with an attitude. After we were finally seated, the service did not improve. Even though we had already indicated that we were ready to order, the staff chose to take orders from Korean speaking customers who were seated after us. They even took another 10 mins to take our table orders! Overall, the experience felt uncomfortable. If you don't speak Korean, I would not recommend coming to this restaurant. read more

My friend was hyping this place up so I had to come and try! We tried the Medium Sashimi Combo plate and it was delicious. We added the Avalone Spicy Sashimi Soup and it was my favorite dish that night. Everything tasted so fresh and service was great. Our waiter was very kind and always checked in on my table. We came on a Tuesday evening and there was no wait. The vibes were great and the restaurant's design was so cute. The food came out fast and everything was delicious! Our server JJ was soooooooo kind too! He checked up on us consistently and was absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for the great time JJ! Definitely will be coming back! read more
