Never again. Lo mein over cooked, general tso chicken was frozen pieces of process chicken balls you would give a kid. The broccoli had mold on it and tasted so off. Was at Rite Aid so thought I'd grab some Chinese to go. My first time at this establishment. Got the combo Pork Lo Me in. Comes w/an egg roll & Pork Fried Rice. The Egg Roll was one of the best I've ever eaten so had high hopes for the rest. Unfortunately, it wasn't to be....the rice was yellow, dry & clumpy w/little to nothing of anything else. The Lo Mein noodles were bland, what there was of pork strips were dry and difficult to chew and w/o much flavor. I cannot review the produce/vegies that usually comes w/Lo Mein as there was not enough to even evaluate. Very disappointing overall especially at $9.99. It's a small Chinese buffet in an old-school strip mall... Lunch prices run till 3:45 ($6.99 for adults) and then dinner prices start and run through I believe 8 pm ($9.99 for adults). They also have take-out boxes and you pay by the ounce. It's a small U-shaped buffet. Plastic utensils (or bamboo chopsticks) with Styrofoam plates and bowls. Drinks are available for extra cost. Hot tea is not free. They also have cans of soda and cartons of iced tea for takeout. Hard ice cream and a small sampling of Chinese buffet desserts are available for dessert. According to the signage, ice cream is at an extra cost for takeout but included if you dine-in. Typical Chinese restaurant ambiance -- that fake green "marble" tables with lighter green chairs with an incredibly upright back. Place could use an update, but for the price you can let it slide. The food was fresh and they were good about refilling as long as you can ignore the fact that a lot of the time the actual food didn't match up with what the tag on the sneeze guard said it was. They do have some American choices too. My girlfriend and I went there for dinner on a Sunday and it was ~ $23.50 before tip for two dinner buffets, one fountain soda and one hot tea. read more

Poor customer service. Never asked for refill till I was ready to leave when she dropped the check off. The food at buffet was empty and not maintained due to all the take out being taken from buffet. The fortune cookie was stale. They remodeled place and it looks nice but that's it. I had eaten here many times over the years and it had always been good. However, recently I ordered take out and it was a bit bland. Their rice had always been very good, but is now bland. I decided to try it again and went to the lunch buffet. The selection was poor and once again, many of the dishes were bland. The dim sum dough was gummy and the soup had no flavor. The food here was ok--standard Chinese-American fried food--but the ambiance was definitely lacking. We dined in, but we got paper plates, plastic silverware, and little packets of soy sauce. Having the buffet closed really impacts this place. We went there and placed our order and were told 30 minutes. We walked through the mall and outside and returned 30 minutes later and waited for another 45 minutes until our food came out. Whenever I have a craving for Chinese I go here. They have good sweet and sour chicken and their low mein is wonderful. Recently the quality of the fried rice has been a little dry compared to what it used to be so I didn't order it this time. The reason for the 4/5 stars is whenever I order a quart of lobster fried rice I get 2-3 small pieces of lobster and that's all. I've ordered it 3 times so I'm guessing it's not a fluke. This place is far better than anything around Lehighton. I had been there years ago for the lunch buffet, but had long since forgotten about it. Best Chinese restaurant in this area, maybe within 50 miles. You can't beat the price and quality. They have the best soup, egg drop, hot and sour and wonton, all taste great. It's a 30 years old restaurant, nice people, food are freshly cooked, love this place, we will be back. read more
