I can't rave about this place enough, and we are lucky to live nearby! The food quality is incredible and the prices are very reasonable. In particular I love the breakfast burritos, breakfast bowls, Sonoran dogs, and all the burritos (el pastor and fish are particularly delicious). Chispas salad and ceviche are also incredible. Their salsa is fantastic and the service is always fast and friendly. They often have dog treats too if your dog is in the car with you. Delicious food, amazing quality. read more

I was in the mood for some fish tacos, and found this place on Yelp! Fish tacos were pretty small for the price. It was like two bites. The fish is pretty flavorful. If you want pico de Gallo you have to ask for it and there is a .50 cent extra charge. The horchata is good not too sweet. Also tried the Sonoran dog and liked that a lot! The elote was not my favorite. It didn't look to appealing, but tried it anyway to give a review and I won't order that again. If you like churros those were delicious. I'd been wanting to try this place for awhile and I FINALLY tried it this afternoon, and it was sooo good! Everything tasted fresh and was exactly as we ordered it via grubhub. Loved the veggie options and loved that they serve a grilled yellow pepper garnish instead of the usual grilled jalapeño because those can be way too spicy. LOVE this place. Highly recommend the Chicken Flautas al la Mexicana. You can get them with potato instead too. They are made to order. I've never had a made to order taquito before and now I can't ever eat a frozen one again. The shrimp tacos and quesadillas are also so good. Fell in love with this place immediately from their interior and branding! But the great food and service is what's kept me coming back. Every time I go in the workers are so friendly and fun! I usually am picking up my order to go, but will have to make a point to stay and eat sometime. This spot is a hidden gem! After driving past it countless times, we finally gave it a shot and now it's a regular go to of ours. We've had the quesadillas, tacos, and tostadas. I'm a vegetarian and they have great flavor packed options which I'm so thankful for! Not just rice, beans, and cheese like most Mexican food joints. We've tried breakfast and dinner at Chispa's and everything has been delicious. We ordered bacon breakfast burritos that were full of eggs and salty bacon. The tortillas had a good texture and stayed together throughout the meal. We really liked the two salsas they came with. We are also big fans of the Sonoran dog; with a smoky flavor and covered in mustard, ketchup and beans. You can customize your tacos and burritos with a variety of toppings. The place is very unassuming, but for what it is - a simple, quick eats or takeaway type of small spot - it really gets the job done. In fact, we ate here and liked it so much we got delivery via grubhub later in our trip. The highlights for me were the Sonoran Dog, al pastor burrito, and the Big Papa potato - which is really loaded. The horchata was good too. The only negative was they forgot one thing on our grubhub order. So make sure you double-check your deliveries! I'd probably give them 5* otherwise. I decided to stop by one night for dinner last night and it did not disappoint. I like that you could customize everything that goes into it and they had lots of options to pick from. I love this place! The chicken is always fresh, never chewy or dry. The salsa is amazing. The limes are always fresh. The Carne Asada is so flavorful and chopped perfectly. I highly recommend a chicken burrito, any of the flautas and a chicken or Carne Asada taco. Not to mention the churro donuts! I like to eat in house, take it to go or even use them for catering! We were in town for the long weekend and were looking up nearby Mexican food. Chispa's popped on our radar and we ordered a large online order for 6 people. As soon as we completed the online order I received an email stating something went wrong with the large order and was given a number to call. Turns out the number was incorrect and dialed up one of the managers directly. She spoke with us and reassured us that she would call the restaurant directly to ensure our order would be ready. We even received a text from her as an update after we hung up. When we went to pick up the order, it was 100% correct and ready at the time of pick up just as the manager said. We ordered a few burritos, kids burrito meals, bowl and a few Horchatas. The food was delicious and tasted so fresh. The salsa on the side had a great kick and complimented the food very well. Love the food, but they always have issues with their phone. Plenty of times it's as if they leave it off the hook. Busy signal for 20 minutes straight. When they do answer the phone they can't hear you and ask instead for you to come in. It's very inconvenient so lately I will end up somewhere else for burritos.
